Notably, she contributed to Unilever's social-first "Vaseline Verified" marketing campaign, which became the most awarded campaign in Unilever history, winning 11 Cannes Lions, including the prestigious Titanium Lion, two Grand Prix, and multiple Gold and Silver awards. Ms. Collazo served as one of the scientists responsible for evaluating and verifying social media hacks related to Vaseline Jelly. Through rigorous review, Ms. Collazo helped to identify 14 safe and effective hacks and developed seven new demos, suitable for public endorsement from hundreds submitted by influencers and users.

Before joining Unilever, Ms. Collazo built a diverse foundation across public health, retail, and beauty R&D. From 2018 through the end of summer 2020, she served as a public services aide with the Rockland County Department of Environmental Health, supporting mosquito borne disease surveillance and environmental safety programs that strengthened her technical rigor and commitment to community wellbeing. From 2016 until August 2023, she also worked with Gap Inc., where balancing long term retail responsibilities alongside full time academic and professional commitments cultivated exceptional interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a highly customer centric approach. In addition to these roles, Ms. Collazo gained valuable industry experience through formulation roles at Henkel and L'Oréal, further shaping and deepening her understanding of formulation science, product development, and the broader beauty and personal care innovation landscape.

Ms. Collazo's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Cosmetic Engineering from Manhattan University, earned in 2021, along with minors in Chemistry and Mathematics. The rigorous technical foundation she developed during her studies has been instrumental in shaping her innovative approach to product development and research. Beyond her academic achievements, Ms. Collazo demonstrated strong leadership and community engagement through roles with the Society of Women Engineers and Sigma Delta Tau, where she organized STEM outreach programs and philanthropic initiatives supporting women and children.
