Notably, she contributed to the "Vaseline Verified" marketing campaign, serving as one of the scientists responsible for evaluating and verifying social media hacks related to Vaseline products. Through rigorous review, Ms. Collazo's team identified 14 safe and effective hacks suitable for public endorsement from hundreds submitted by influencers and users.

Before joining Unilever, Ms. Collazo became a public services aide with the Rockland County Department of Environmental Health beginning in 2018. In this role, she continues to support public health initiatives and environmental safety programs, demonstrating a commitment to community well-being that complements her scientific pursuits. Ms. Collazo also works in retail with Gap Inc., a role she has upheld since 2016.

Ms. Collazo's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Cosmetic Engineering from Manhattan College, earned in 2021. The technical foundation acquired through her studies has been instrumental in enabling her innovative contributions to product development and research. While in college, Ms. Collazo also completed an internship at Henkel. This experience provided foundational knowledge in cosmetic product development and further fueled her passion for cosmetic chemistry.

Throughout her career, Ms. Collazo has remained actively involved in industry organizations, including the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists and the Connecticut Society of Cosmetic Chemists. Beyond her professional endeavors, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to civic engagement. Ms. Collazo has volunteered as a speaker at alum talks at Manhattan College, sharing insights with current students and supporting educational outreach. She also volunteered with Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson Inc. from 2007 to 2017, fostering leadership skills and community involvement from an early age.
