Mr. Stout has established a distinguished career marked by leadership, innovation and advocacy across the music education and renewable energy sectors. Since 2006, he has served as the founding owner of Clean Energy Funding Solutions, where he has leveraged his expertise in building and maintaining relationships to advance clean energy initiatives. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in educating clients about solar energy and renewable resources, championing a shift away from traditional fossil fuels.

In 2024, Mr. Stout also assumed the role of commercial business development at Solar Gain Inc in California, further expanding his influence within the solar industry. Furthermore, he has acted as an authorized residential and commercial partner for SunPower Solar since 2013, where his efforts were recognized with the Commercial National Rising Star Award from SunPower Corporation in 2020. He also contributed for a few years developing solar projects in California for Renewable Construction Services Inc., focusing on sustainable construction solutions.

Between 2018 and 2021, Mr. Stout held the position of executive vice president of strategy and sustainable business development at Alpha Energy Management, following his tenure as strategy and business development director the previous year. His earlier experience includes serving as commercial business development manager at Clean Solar for three years and as commercial and residential sales manager at Revolve Solar for two years. He was also a Sunrun solar sales consultant with Fast Solar Services from 2012 to 2013 and a district sales manager at Pristine Sun Inc. from 2010 to 2012.

Mr. Stout's professional journey also encompasses roles outside the solar sector. He was a sales and marketing director at Vortran Laser Technology Inc. from 2009 to 2010 and an account sales executive at AGI Publishing Inc. from 2008 to 2009. His musical talents led him to perform woodwinds and saxophone with The Live Lawrence Welk & The Champagne Orchestra Live Tours in 2006 and in 2007.

A significant portion of Mr. Stout's career was dedicated to music education and advocacy. As chief executive officer, founder, entrepreneur, music teacher and mentor at Live Music Center from 1987 to 2006, he passionately promoted music education as essential for children's development. During the 1990s, he emerged as a key advocate for preserving music programs in schools, organizing professionals to address school boards and ensuring these programs remained available for students. This commitment is reflected in his ongoing role as director of Live Music Services since 1982.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Stout worked for Chevron USA Inc. from 1982 to 1992 in various capacities, including as a sales and excise corporate tax accountant, accounts receivable, distribution and oil exploration. Notably, after transitioning into the solar industry years later, he returned to a former Chevron building to install solar panels—symbolizing his dedication to environmental sustainability.

Throughout his professional life, Mr. Stout has been an active member of industry organizations, such as the BNI Money Makers Group and the California Solar & Storage Association. His educational background includes an Associate of Applied Science from Solano Community College in 2021 and coursework in aeronautics engineering at San Jose State University. His industry contributions have been recognized with several honors, including the Business of the Year Award from Vaca Arts Solano County in 1997. In February 2024, he received the 2023 Inspire Award from the Solano County Creative Arts Council for his 40-year commitment to music performance and education.

Outside his professional life, Mr. Stout has been currently the music director for Alive Music Orchestra and has served as president of Vacaville Jazz Society Inc., a Non-Profit 501 C organization that supports and operates the annual Vacaville Jazz Festival event every year for the last 26 years that supports the music arts and education for the local community. He was also a governing board member for the Plum Valley School District Board from 2011 to 2012 and served on the board of directors for the Vacaville Chamber from 1989 to 1991. Overall, he attributes his success to perseverance and the ability to build strong relationships.

• Jazz & Rock Artists: Pete Christlieb (Natalie Cole), Mic Gillette (Tower of Power), and Jackie King (Willie Nelson).

• Notable Recordings: His most recognized rock solo appears on the 1995 Pink Floyd tribute album Moon Revisited by the progressive rock group Magellan.

• International Performances: In 2003, he performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival in The Hague, Holland, with the Ron Cunha All-Star Big Band and with the Live Lawrence Welk Touring Show in 2006 & 2007 throughout Canada & USA.

In his personal life, Mr. Stout is dedicated to his wife and family, which includes his daughters, and his grandchildren. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys music as a hobby and envisions converting a property he purchased in Colusa County into the Stout Oasis Retreat healing and events center that will host future music performances and provide opportunities for healing workshops through energy frequencies and other alternative therapy services.
