Prior to reaching his leadership role at FACTORFIVE Skincare, Dr. Stachura spent nearly a decade in various teaching and research positions at California State University, Chico. As a full professor from 2022 to 2024, he taught undergraduate and master's level students in the field of molecular biology while also conducting studies on stem cell formation and differentiation. Following his initial appointment as assistant professor from 2014 to 2017, he went to serve as an associate professor for five years. In each of these roles, he advanced research initiatives, obtained external funding, and provided instruction and guidance in molecular biology, immunology, and developmental biology. Overall, these activities were essential for fostering and mentoring the next generation of young scientists.

Dr. Stachura's teaching experience also includes serving as an assistant project scientist at the University of California San Diego from 2011 to 2014, during which he contributed to groundbreaking research projects in cellular biology. Concurrently, from 2006 to 2014, he acted as a mentor at the school, guiding doctoral, master's and undergraduate students through complex scientific concepts and laboratory techniques.

In 2011, Dr. Stachura was a lecturer and instructor at the University of California San Diego, teaching molecular biology to undergraduate students. During this time, he also utilized his editorial skills as an editor and proofreader for American Journal Experts from 2010 to 2011.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Stachura worked as a laboratory instructor at the University of Pennsylvania from 2005 to 2006 and a teaching assistant in 2005. He began his research journey as a graduate student researcher at the University of Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2006 after gaining foundational experience as an independent undergraduate researcher at Lehigh University from 1999 to 2000.

Hailing from an academic background rooted in rigorous scientific training, Dr. Stachura earned a Doctor of Philosophy in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006 after completing a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology at Lehigh University in 2000. His postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Diego in 2011 further refined his expertise and prepared him for his subsequent leadership roles in both academia and industry. Determined to make an impact outside the classroom as well, he was an active member of Alpha Phi Omega.

Having made a lasting impact on scientific research, product production, and the lives of numerous students, Dr. Stachura continues to develop his exceptional skill in stem cell biology and skin care science.
