Ms. Holsten's career also includes working as a senior financial consultant at Robert Half from 2019 to 2020, during which she provided high-level fiscal consulting, operational stabilization, and strategic guidance to organizations navigating major transitions across a range of industries.
From 2012 to 2019, Ms. Holsten held progressively senior roles within the mortgage industry, beginning as a senior accountant and advancing to controller positions at leading St. Louis-based mortgage firms. In these roles, she managed complex accounting, treasury, audit support, and compliance functions while supporting organizational growth through disciplined financial leadership.
Earlier in her journey, Ms. Holsten spent a decade with a privately held commercial real estate development and property management firm in St. Louis, where she advanced from senior accountant to accounting manager and ultimately controller between 2000 and 2010. This period established a consistent pattern of internal promotion and leadership development that would become a hallmark of her career.
Prior to beginning her work in commercial real estate, Ms. Holsten served for two years as interim chief financial officer for Missouri Alliance for Children & Families, an organization that provides care and support services for children with severe behavioral and emotional needs. This role broadened her experience in complex operational environments and strengthened her ability to align financial stewardship with mission-driven objectives.
