RUNNELLS, IA, February 06, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ryan C. Jennings has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Marked by his longstanding expertise in senior home modifications and aging in place services, Mr. Jennings has led a distinguished career that spans three decades of success. Since 2023, he has served as the franchisee and owner of TruBlue Home Service Ally of East Des Moines, where he manages franchise operations, oversees all employees and provides home modifications tailored to the needs of senior citizens. His responsibilities also include pursuing aging in place certifications, building strong customer relationships and performing a range of handyman services such as remodeling and drywall work.

The decision to acquire the TruBlue Home Service franchise stands as Mr. Jennings' most significant professional and personal milestone. This venture has enabled him to reconnect with his identity as a people person, offering him the opportunity to engage directly with customers and make meaningful contributions to their lives. Transitioning from his previous role provided him with greater flexibility, allowing him to spend more quality time with his family while pursuing his passion for helping seniors remain safely in their homes and supporting his community.

Mr. Jennings became involved in senior home modification services after seeking greater flexibility in his career following a pivotal moment in his personal life. Motivated by a desire to help senior citizens — a cause close to him due to being largely raised by his grandparents — he identified TruBlue as the ideal platform for combining his professional expertise with meaningful community impact.

Prior to assuming ownership of TruBlue Home Service Ally, Mr. Jennings worked as a power lineman for a power company in Des Moines from 2014 to 2023. In this capacity, he was responsible for maintaining electrical infrastructure, often working second and third shifts while providing crucial services for the community. While the position offered stability, it restricted his ability to connect with others and limited his opportunities for personal fulfillment outside of work. However, the technical skills and discipline he acquired during this period laid a strong foundation for his later achievements in business ownership and service delivery.

Though he ultimately decided not to pursue higher education, the practical knowledge Mr. Jennings gained through vocational training in industrial maintenance, combined with hands-on experience in drywall, handyman work and construction — skills imparted by his father Roger and grandfather Joe Jr. Jennings — have been pivotal in his professional development. Having been raised on a farm around dairy cattle, he credits this upbringing for instilling in him a robust work ethic that continues to inform his approach to business and service today.

Reflecting on his storied journey to date, Mr. Jennings attributes much of his success to the guidance and example set by his father and grandfather, whose mentorship fostered both technical proficiency and integrity. He is also immensely grateful to his wife Sunshine, who has played an essential role in supporting his ambitions and enabling him to pursue goals that benefit others.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Jennings is civically engaged through involvement with MidAmerican CARES — which serves communities in need through donations, volunteer efforts and partnerships with local businesses — and active participation in events at his local church. Outside of work, he enjoys watching movies and maintains an active lifestyle through hobbies like hunting, fishing and traveling.

In the coming years, Mr. Jennings intends to expand TruBlue Home Service Ally by growing his team with individuals who share his vision for quality service and compassionate care. He also aims to establish a brick-and-mortar showroom where customers can explore senior safety products such as grab bars, stairlifts and ramps. Ultimately, he envisions employing his wife within the business so they can enjoy greater freedom together before returning to their family's hometown in Alabama.

Through dedication, resilience and a steadfast commitment to helping those in need, Mr. Jennings has achieved recognition as an expert in senior home modifications and aging in place services while making a meaningful impact on clients, families and his community.
