OCONOMOWOC, WI, February 06, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Benjamin Ahles has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A recognized leader in power engineering, Mr. Ahles brings more than 15 years of experience spanning utility-scale renewable energy, electrical design, and project leadership. Since 2021, he has served as Senior Project Manager at Pure Power Engineering, a premier engineering firm specializing in commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems. In this role, he is a leader within the firm's utility-scale engineering group—an achievement he considers a defining milestone of his career.

As technical lead across all utility-scale projects, Mr. Ahles oversees engineering design, contractual compliance, scheduling, and execution while providing high-level technical guidance to both clients and internal teams. His position demands a rare balance of strategic leadership and hands-on engineering involvement, reflecting his deep technical acumen and enduring passion for design excellence.

Mr. Ahles' progression at Pure Power Engineering underscores his consistent performance and leadership capabilities. Prior to his senior role, he served as Project Manager from 2019 to 2021, directing complex, multidisciplinary projects and ensuring all deliverables met stringent client, regulatory, and industry standards. From 2017 to 2019, he held the role of Assistant Engineering Project Manager, supporting senior leadership, resolving technical challenges, and facilitating coordination among diverse stakeholders. He began his tenure at the firm as an Electrical Engineer from 2015 to 2017, designing electrical systems for all types of projects, conducting site surveys, and preparing permit and construction documentation.

Before joining Pure Power Engineering, Mr. Ahles worked as an Electrical Engineer and Assistant Customer Project Manager at Ettinger Engineering Associates, where he supported customized mechanical, electrical, and fire protection solutions for building systems. Earlier in his career, he gained valuable exposure to utility operations as an Energy Management Systems Engineering Intern at American Transmission Co. (ATC).

While pursuing his education, Mr. Ahles completed multiple internships that built a strong technical foundation, including roles at Magnetek (now Columbus McKinnon Corporation) and Generac Power Systems, where he supported special applications engineering, standards design, CAD, and product data management initiatives.

Mr. Ahles earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2015. During his academic career, he was an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and served as a judge for a STEM competition, reflecting his early commitment to mentorship and education. He further strengthened his professional credentials by earning certification as a Photovoltaic Installation Professional from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) and completing OSHA 30-hour safety training.

Throughout his career, Mr. Ahles attributes his success to adaptability, technical curiosity, and a solution-oriented mindset. His passion for engineering began in his youth, working on automobiles alongside his father, and evolved through hands-on experience with computers, integrated systems, and power engineering during his collegiate internships.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Ahles is deeply committed to mentorship and community service. He serves as a mentor for Pure Power University, supporting the development of early-career engineers, and has volunteer experience in animal shelters.

A devoted husband and father of one daughter, Mr. Ahles values time with his family and caring for his animals, which include four dogs, two horses, and a cat. Looking ahead, he remains focused on scaling Pure Power Engineering's utility-scale operations, expanding his team, and mentoring the next generation of engineering leaders. He also plans to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications as part of his commitment to continuous growth. Ultimately, Mr. Ahles strives to advance a safer, more sustainable world through engineering excellence and service to others.
