RICHMOND, VA, February 07, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Today, U.S. Term Limits announces that Dr. Ibraheem Samirah has agreed to be the Virginia State Chair for U.S. Term Limits. Dr. Samirah brings a depth of both private and public service to this role. He served in the Virginia House of Delegates. He brings a strong understanding for the need to enact congressional term limits to break the dysfunction we see in Washington, D.C. and sees the Old Dominion state ready to join the growing roster of states calling for a constitutional amendment for congressional term limits.

About Dr. Ibraheem Samirah

Dr. Ibraheem Samirah is a dentist and business owner. Born in Chicago to Jordanian-Palestinian parents, Samirah earned his B.A. in government from American University and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Boston University.

In 2019, he was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates where he was a strong voice for reform. He has remained active in Virginia politics and is highly respected by members of both political parties.

He resides in Herndon, Virginia.
