ROCHESTER, NY, February 12, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Arnie Rothschild has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Rothschild has established a distinguished career marked by leadership, innovation and a commitment to community enrichment. Since 1995, he has served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of the Rochester Broadway Theatre League, where his tenure spans more than three decades on the board, including 30 years as chair. Under his guidance, the organization evolved from near insolvency to become the region's most respected entertainment company, boasting a retained surplus of $13.5 million. Mr. Rothschild was instrumental in the acquisition and debt-free funding of the West Herr Performing Arts Center, overseeing all business strategy, banking and legal relationships. He leads all governance committees and acts as chief spokesperson for the $70 million restoration of the West Herr Performing Arts Center, playing a pivotal role in fundraising and collaborating with lobbyists and government officials. The Rochester Broadway Theatre League now employs 14 full-time and 30 part-time staff members, supported by 250 volunteers, and impacts more than 5,000 children annually through its educational program.
Mr. Rothschild is also chief executive officer of Growth Marketing of Rochester LLC, a traditional advertising and media firm he established two decades ago following the unwinding of his previous venture, Normal Communications. Growth Marketing serves major clients such as Batavia Downs Gaming and Hotel, which processes approximately $1.6 billion in annual transactions, and the Palmer Family of Companies, including G&C Food Distribution, with projected revenues nearing $2 billion. He further collaborates with Cognivue/MyndTec, founded by Blaise Thomas Golisano, focusing on developing technology to detect drug impairment in vehicles. In this capacity, Mr. Rothschild leads strategic planning and contributes to both video and print collateral design.
Since 1996, Mr. Rothschild has operated as a strategist and consultant at Arnie Rothschild Political Consulting. Overseeing more than 200 elections across New York State—primarily for Republican candidates—he has achieved a winning percentage of approximately 88 percent despite significant financial disadvantages in a predominantly Democratic state. His portfolio includes six congressional campaigns, numerous judicial elections with 41 victories and statewide management for the New York State Republican Assembly Campaign Committee. Notably, he played a key role in electing Tom Reed to the United States House of Representatives and contributed to bipartisan efforts, such as supporting Rochester mayor Lovely Warren's campaign.
From 1995 to the present, Mr. Rothschild has been president and chief operating officer of Normal Communications, before it transitioned to Growth Marketing of Rochester LLC. In this role, he develops expertise in crisis communication, assisting attorneys during high-profile legal challenges involving controversial media situations, including restaurant owners implicated in financial schemes and mortgage brokerage firms facing class-action lawsuits after data breaches. He also did communications work for a Judge who resigned from the bench and a district attorney with a public relations/media problem. The City of Rochester recently called upon him to manage crisis communications following a police shooting.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Rothschild served as vice president of sales and marketing at Lincoln Group Broadcasting from 1986 to 1997, where he honed his skills in media relations and organizational leadership. In addition, he became the broadcast industry's leading expert in negotiation strategy and pricing strategies (while consulting a broadcast pricing software company named Maxagrid.) In that role, he consulted broadcasters in the US, UK, and Australia and major broadcasting companies throughout the country. He did a 23 city speaking tour for Cox Communications, consulted major groups including NBC/Telemundo and others.
Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Rothschild has been an active member of industry-related organizations, including serving for 17 years on the City of Rochester Cultural District Commission and maintaining membership in Phi Sigma Delta Fraternity.
Mr. Rothschild earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa, in 1969. He credits much of his success to a guiding mantra: "The secret to life is to find out what you do not do well, then do not do it." This philosophy has shaped his approach to leadership and personal development throughout his career.
His civic engagement extends beyond professional obligations through extensive pro bono work and community projects, including addressing revenue challenges for United Way of Rochester and supporting Roberts Wesleyan University's mission-driven initiatives.
Mr. Rothschild's achievements have been recognized with several honors, including the Icon Honor from the Rochester Business Journal in 2024, induction into Parsons College's Wall of Honor as one of its Top 100 Graduates in 2017, and a Key to the City Award from a former mayor.
Born in Syracuse, Mr. Rothschild enjoys working out and playing golf during his leisure time. He is currently engaged in restoring a century-old Masonic complex into a multi-stage performing arts center for his community, a project he views as vital for local pride. He also plans to collaborate on improving the financial outlook for various arts organizations within Rochester. Above all else, Mr. Rothschild hopes to be remembered as someone who truly made a difference through dedication and service to others.
