In 2023, he founded and became the franchise owner of LIME Painting®, LLC where he meets with potential clients, schedules and oversees all jobs and bids, inspects field operations, projects and manages ongoing efforts on custom properties. Under his guidance, the company has become known for outstanding quality with amazing service. Mr. Klein's combination of knowledge and genuine service produces a rare find in the residential painting sector. From gutter replacements to interior and exterior coatings to epoxy finishes and concrete sealers Lime Painting® specializes in the continued maintenance of the residential home.

Though his ownership tenure at LIME Painting® counts several milestones, Mr. Klein is particularly proud of building the foundation of the business to enable both himself and his clients to support children and families with disabilities. In recognition of their involvement, he doubles the duration of their warranty as well as providing additional incentives, fostering a culture of kindness and generosity that has resonated with many clients. His success with the company saw him spotlighted in the 2024 Franchise Dictionary Magazine article "Built to Scale an Empire," where he reflected on his insights into entrepreneurship and organizational growth. Prior to establishing LIME Painting®, Mr. Klein has been serving others in the paint sector for over 30 years. During this time he has grown to become a "Certifiable Paint Expert."

Mr. Klein began his professional journey as a sales representative with Miller Paint Company from 1992 to 2002. Specializing in commercial outside sales, he developed the company's territory throughout the Portland, Beaverton and Lake Oswego areas and laid much of the groundwork for his later ventures.

Over the course of nearly a decade, Mr. Klein served as owner and operator of Kaleidoscope Paint-Benjamin Moore in Portland. As the owner of Portland's largest Benjamin Moore paint store during this period, he demonstrated strong business acumen by training his teams to provide top-notch customer service, inventory control and marketing strategies; The end goal at Kaleidoscope Paint was to be the destination place for women in the Northwest for all their Benjamin Moore needs. His efforts grew the enterprise significantly before he went on to successfully sell the store.

Reflecting on his storied journey thus far, Mr. Klein is a first generation American and attributes much of his success to the values instilled by his immigrant parents from Holland, who taught him the importance of hard work, community and maintaining pride in his country.

Beyond his business pursuits, Mr. Klein is known for his contributions to civic activities and faith-based organizations. Since 2006, he has served as a discussion group leader with Bible Study Fellowship. Additionally, he has been a short-term missionary with Lake Bible Church — which engages in missionary trips to Oaxaca Mexico and Uganda Africa— since 2005 and remains an active supporter of the Respite Ministry of Bend. From 2014 to 2020, he taught at Northwest Bible Training Center as a bible teacher and has volunteered on numerous church mission trips. He currently serves at Grace Bible Church in Bend as is the acting Director of Oversees Missions.

Happily married for over 30 years and a devoted family man, Mr. Klein enjoys playing golf, skiing, serving within his community and spending time together with his wife Christine as a balance to his business endeavors. As he continues to make an outstanding impact through his career and civic engagement, he intends to expand his LIME Painting® further. In 2025 Lime Painting of Lake Oswego was launched and his son Luke is currently overseeing this second territory.
