In her capacity at Gambell Enterprises, Ms. Arrington is responsible for building trust with her clients by managing all shipping documents, dispatching trucks, monitoring temperature validations of sensitive product moves, and ensuring their timely delivery. She confirms that every load is tracked from start to finish and oversees all operational aspects of the process, with her dedication to transparency and reputation for reliability allowing her to establish a notable presence in the industry.

Ms. Arrington is also the founder and owner of Crack O' Dawn Express LLC, which she established in 2012 and incorporated in 2015. The company operates under Landstar's Department of Transportation authority, with the business equipment leased to Landstar. Establishing strong relationships with customers, shippers and receivers, she works with export and import freight lanes to support clients in the specialized sectors.

Notably, Ms. Arrington has demonstrated remarkable perseverance in overcoming both professional and personal challenges; despite these obstacles, she continued to grow Crack O' Dawn Express and expand her fleet.

Ms. Arrington also gained significant experience in trucking before transitioning into an agency role. After completing truck driving school at MTC Community College in Kansas City and her initial training as a long-haul driver at Werner in 2010, she transitioned to E.L. Henderson where she purchased her first truck and paid it off early through diligent work. She remained there until 2014, when she moved her operations to Landstar as part of her business expansion efforts.

Prior to entering the trucking industry, Ms. Arrington worked in accounting beginning in 1990 after developing an interest in numbers during high school. Her academic background, which includes an Associate of Arts in business management from Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods in 1996, provided her with a strong foundation for managing the financial aspects of her businesses and continues to serve her well as she maintains her own books.

To augment her knowledge and qualifications, Ms. Arrington obtained a certified driving license obtained in 2009, which enabled her transition from accounting to trucking following a successful grant application and medical examination. Her journey into trucking was motivated by a desire for travel and new experiences after she found success but ultimately felt burned out from accounting roles.

Throughout her career, Ms. Arrington has been recognized for her commitment to quality and excellence with several accolades from Landstar: the Gold Star Quality Award in 2025, the Silver Star Quality Award in 2024, the Star Quality Award in 2020 and several safety awards.

Also, an active member of Women in Trucking since 2020, Ms. Arrington is dedicated to mentoring drivers and agents to help more women advance within the traditionally male-dominated industry. Passionate about causes beyond her professional circles as well, she volunteers with wildlife and domestic animal rescue organizations, participates in various Touch-A-Truck events to aid in education and safety awareness with children/parents and supports numerous charity initiatives.

Reflecting on her storied journey to date, Ms. Arrington attributes much of her success to the strong support network she has cultivated throughout her career. She values assembling effective teams and believes that collaboration is essential for achieving results not only for herself but also for those around her.

Ms. Arrington is the mother and grandmother. As a balance to her professional responsibilities, she enjoys riding motorcycles, learning to sail, spending quality time with her grandchildren and caring for animals.
