SAN FRANCISCO, CA, February 13, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jonathan Michael Holsbach has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and influence within a field are considered during the selection process.
Mr. Holsbach has established a career in the fitness and wellness industry defined by innovation, depth, and a rare synthesis of disciplines. He is the founder of Mechanical by Nature, a human development framework grounded in the premise that the human body functions as a highly adaptive biological system—one that performs optimally only when properly aligned, regulated, and activated. His work challenges conventional fitness models by reframing the body not as a collection of muscles to be trained, but as an integrated system of signals that can be deliberately understood, corrected, and refined.
Mr. Holsbach began his career as a personal trainer at Fitness SF in San Francisco in 2015, where he worked with a broad and diverse client base. Exposure to human movement at scale revealed consistent patterns: individuals often demonstrated motivation and discipline, yet remained stuck in chronic pain, postural dysfunction, anxiety, or recurring injury. These observations led him to question prevailing approaches to fitness, recognizing that most limitations were not the result of effort or motivation, but of systemic misalignment and degraded signal integrity within the body.
Informed by his background in mechanical engineering, Mr. Holsbach began analyzing the human body through the lens of structure, force transfer, torque, and system efficiency—seeing muscles not only as biological tissues, but as materials with properties such as elasticity, stiffness, fatigue, and deformation. This perspective allowed him to identify underlying mechanical and neurological inefficiencies that often manifest as chronic pain, limitation, or imbalance—issues he approaches as solvable system errors rather than conditions to be managed. As his client base grew, he recognized an opportunity to move beyond individual outcomes and develop a repeatable, systems-based method for restoring alignment and control.
In 2017, Mr. Holsbach launched his own business under the name Jonny Tsunamii Fitness, which later evolved into Mechanical by Nature. In this capacity, he guided clients through highly individualized programs emphasizing posture correction, corrective exercise, and nervous system regulation. Over time, this work matured into a structured methodology designed to bring the body back into alignment by redistributing internal tension, restoring signal pathways, and reestablishing a clear relationship between intention and action.
An emerging expert in nervous system regulation, Mr. Holsbach's approach was shaped by both personal experience and disciplined study. While playing football in college, he suffered a broken leg that resulted in prolonged pain and forced stillness. This period cultivated a heightened sense of presence and self-awareness, compelling him to explore the relationship between perception, movement, and control. He was also influenced by the teachings of Master Shi Heng Yi of Shaolin Temple Europe, whose emphasis on discipline, stillness, and self-mastery helped contextualize physical recovery within a broader framework of internal alignment and regulation.
Through this process, Mr. Holsbach identified a consistent underlying constraint across clients: subconscious fear responses that distort posture, breathing, and movement under stress. Corrective exercise became the foundation of his work, not simply to restore alignment, but to rebuild awareness and command over the nervous system. By observing posture, breath, joint orientation, and movement patterns, individuals learn to recognize where the system is operating offline and to deliberately restore control. As awareness increases, clients reliably experience improvements in posture, pain reduction, movement efficiency, decision-making, and confidence—both inside and outside the gym.
In Mr. Holsbach's view, fitness is not primarily about aesthetics or performance metrics. Rather, it is a process of human calibration—the restoration of signal clarity between the mind and body. When alignment and regulation are restored, thoughts and emotions become usable energy rather than noise, actions become more precise, and individuals gain a renewed sense of agency over their lives.
Since 2021, Mr. Holsbach has dedicated himself to the development of a groundbreaking digital fitness program, which represents his most notable professional achievement. Designed as an immersive and guided experience, the platform translates his in-person methodology into a scalable system that teaches individuals how to understand, recalibrate, and operate their own bodies with precision. Over the past five years, he has invested significant time refining this system in preparation for broader release.
Mr. Holsbach holds professional credentials through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, including Personal Training Certification (PTC), Corrective Exercise Specialization (CES), and Performance Enhancement Specialization (PES), and is also a USA Weightlifting (USAW) certified coach. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2015 and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration through Augment.
Mr. Holsbach attributes his success to a shift from self-development toward service. While understanding his own system was a necessary foundation, the expansion of his work occurred when his focus turned outward—toward helping others regain alignment, clarity, and control within their own lives.
Beyond his professional pursuits, he supports and is affiliated with organizations including The Nature Conservancy, Compassion International, and the American Civil Liberties Union, reflecting a broader commitment to environmental stewardship, human dignity, and social responsibility.
Born in Redwood City, California, Mr. Holsbach resides in San Francisco and continues to expand the reach of his work globally. His long-term vision includes growing Mechanical by Nature internationally and establishing a foundation dedicated to addressing challenges such as environmental conservation, homelessness, and substance abuse recovery—while building a life rooted in purpose, service, and family.
