Since assuming the Chief Executive Officer position during Dalton Corporation's acquisition of its North American division in 2022, Mr. Rodriguez Villava has overseen significant milestones, including leading Dalton to become the first Mexico-based organization awarded to acquire franchises for Toyota, Subaru and Hyundai in the United States. Dalton Corporation has established more than 50 car dealership rooftops across North America and expanded its footprint abroad. He takes particular pride in this achievement, recognizing the jobs created and the potential for future growth as Dalton continues its expansion throughout North America.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Rodriguez Villava served as Head of innovation and new ventures at Dalton Corporation. In this capacity, he reported directly to Chairman Salomon Chidan, the leader in charge of the North American expansion. He was instrumental in evaluating platforms to support the company's growth in the United States, laying the foundation for further expansion in this market.

From 2018 to 2021, Mr. Rodriguez Villava served as general manager in the auto division at Dalton Corporation. In these roles, he oversaw dealership operations and implemented strategies that contributed to Dalton's continued success in Mexico's competitive automotive sector. Currently he is a stakeholder at Dalton Corporation.

Before joining Dalton Corporation, Mr. Rodriguez Villava gained valuable experience in international trade and investment. From 2016 to 2018, he was head of trading and operations at ASERCA, where he managed trading activities and operational strategies supporting agricultural exports and financial hedging for. Between 2015 and 2016, he served as chief of staff to the general director of planning and strategy at ASERCA.

From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Rodriguez Villava was a founding partner at The Box Club, demonstrating entrepreneurial initiative in launching new ventures. During this period, he also served as deputy chief of staff at CNBV, the equivalent to the SEC, from 2013 to 2015.

His earlier career included roles with ProMéxico: from 2011 to 2013, as deputy trade and investment commissioner and deputy director; and from 2010 to 2011, as director and commercial attaché. In these capacities, he facilitated business exports between Mexico and the United States. He fostered bilateral investment opportunities—particularly in the Midwestern United States—while remaining focused on business development rather than political engagement.

Mr. Rodriguez Villava began his professional journey as financial manager in his family's construction development business "Arquides Construcción" from 2008 to 2010.

Throughout his career, Mr. Rodriguez Villava has developed expertise in expansion and growth as well as acquisition strategies. These skills have been instrumental in guiding Dalton's historic entry into the U.S. market and ongoing success across North America.

He is an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the Hyundai Dealer Association and TLMODA. He serves as vice president of the San Diego Toyota Dealer Association and is past president of the Cornell Club of Mexico.

Mr. Rodriguez Villava's academic background has provided a strong foundation for his professional achievements. He earned a Master of Business Administration in business administration and management from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, in 2017. That same year, he completed a Master of Business Administration from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. In addition, he holds a diploma from the ManageMentor Program at Harvard Business School at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, awarded in 2012; a bachelor's degree in financial management from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, conferred in 2009; and an associate degree focused on doing business in China with Mandarin language studies from Fudan University in Shanghai China completed in 2007.

Mr. Rodriguez Villava attributes his success to maintaining humility and staying grounded while actively learning from everyone he meets, a mindset that has shaped his approach throughout his career.

His civic involvement includes serving as vice president of the San Diego County Toyota Dealer Association since 2025; president of the Johnson Regional Alumni Club for Mexico City at Johnson Graduate School of Management at SC Johnson School of Business at Cornell Johnson since 2019; and membership on the Ambassador's Board for Chicago Children's Choir from 2012 to 2013.

Born in Guadalajara, Mr. Rodriguez Villava enjoys spending time with his family, his wife and partner Andrea and three children: two daughters and one son.
