Concurrently, Mr. Lovelette has also served as president of Kaanapali Land, LLC guiding the organization through significant development projects and operational milestones.

Since 1986, Mr. Lovelette has been managing director at JMB Realty Corporation. In this capacity, he has been the primary contact for capital markets, deal structuring and significant transactions. His expertise and commitment have been instrumental to the long-term success of JMB Realty and its affiliates, including Kaanapali, along with Rush Street Gaming. Mr. Lovelette takes particular pride in his forty years of service with JMB and its predecessor, Arvida/Disney, a milestone he will celebrate in March 2026. He remains an essential figure in shaping its strategic direction.

From 2023 to 2025, Mr. Lovelette contributed his insights as a director at Dreamscape, guiding investment opportunities and organizational strategy during a period of expansion and innovation.

Earlier in his career, from 1978 to 1986, Mr. Lovelette served as an assistant vice president at Midlantic National Bank, now known as The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. There, he developed foundational expertise in banking operations, business development and financial management that would inform his later achievements in real estate finance.

Mr. Lovelette's academic background includes a Master of Business Administration in finance from Seton Hall University, completed in 1985. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and history from the College of the Holy Cross, earned in 1978. The rigorous training he received at these institutions provided him with analytical skills and a broad perspective on economic trends—tools that have proven invaluable throughout his career.

He attributes much of his professional success to the strong work ethic and honesty instilled by his parents, who operated a business on Cape Cod. Their insistence that he gain experience outside the family enterprise led him to pursue opportunities in urban banking environments. Additionally, Mr. Lovelette credits his uncle, William McKenna—a prominent figure listed in Who's Who and former chairman of Litton Industries' business systems—for inspiring his interest in global business and finance. Following his uncle's example, Mr. Lovelette entered banking before transitioning to roles that allowed him to travel extensively and manage large-scale financing deals worldwide. Over the years, he has facilitated billions of dollars in financing transactions.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Mr. Lovelette is deeply engaged with civic organizations and educational institutions. Since 2020, he has served as director for the National Coast Guard Museum Association, supporting efforts to preserve maritime heritage and honor service members' contributions. From 2016 to 2024, he served on the board of trustees at the College of the Holy Cross, contributing to governance and strategic planning at his alma mater. He is also involved with Seton Hall University's Stillman School of Business as a member of the Dean's Advisory Committee.

His achievements have been recognized with several honors, including the Distinguished Alumni Award from Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University and the In Hoc Signo Vinces award from the College of the Holy Cross.
