BRAMBLETON, VA, February 19, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kym John Gully has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Gully currently serves as Chief Global Product and Solutions Officer at Deloitte in McLean, Virginia, a role he assumed in 2025. In this capacity, he oversees the development and execution of AI-driven product strategies and global solutions, playing a central role in advancing Deloitte's vision for digital transformation and operational excellence.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Mr. Gully held several senior leadership roles at Accenture. From 2024 to 2025, he served as Global Chief Technology Officer for Accenture Products and Platforms and Agentic AI Business Lead, where he introduced agentic AI through a common orchestration model across numerous products within weeks. During this period, he also led the transition of the software development lifecycle to a fully AI based model—an achievement he regards as the most significant within IT of his career.
From 2022 to 2025, Mr. Gully was Chief Information Officer for Accenture's Mortgage Cadence division, where he revitalized the organization's mortgage product offerings. Through strategic leadership, he transitioned approximately 400 roles offshore, reducing costs while improving quality and ultimately restoring the business to profitability. From 2013 to 2024, he served as Chief Technology Officer for Accenture Life & Annuity (ALIP), guiding the technological direction of its core products and ensuring alignment with industry standards and client needs.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Gully held executive and senior technology roles at Sapiens International, Distribution Technology, and FIS, including Chief Architect for U.S. Operations, Chief Technology Officer, and Business Solutions Director. Notably, in 2002 he designed a life insurance quotation system deployed on a Nokia mobile phone—an innovation widely regarded as a pioneering business model well ahead of its time.
Mr. Gully began his professional journey after earning a diploma in programming technology from the Computer Power Training Institute in 1992. He later relocated to England, where his career progressed rapidly, culminating in leadership responsibility for electronic banking PC applications at HSBC UK. He subsequently returned to his original firm as owner director before selling the company and joining FIS.
Born in Adelaide and raised in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia, Mr. Gully credits his maternal grandfather with instilling in him enduring values of integrity and kindness. He initially pursued studies in psychology at the University of South Australia and spent time in correctional services, rising to Deputy Superintendent at a juvenile detention center—an uncommon achievement recognized with a letter of commendation from the Northern Territory's Secretary of State.
Entrepreneurial from an early age, Mr. Gully owned and operated several gymnasiums and a clothing store, briefly ran a modeling agency, and organized both the first Northern Territory Bodybuilding Titles and an Australian Powerlifting Title. He remains deeply committed to community engagement and has coached with Loudoun Rugby Football Club in Virginia since 2022, following earlier involvement with the Minis program at Bath Rugby Club in England.
A published author and thought leader, Mr. Gully's work includes "3 Stages of Evolution in the AI SDLC," published on LinkedIn in February 2026, along with articles in various industry publications. His personal interests include snowboarding, skiing, golf, oil painting, and playing guitar and piano. Above all, he values time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Looking ahead, Mr. Gully aims to reinvent Deloitte's software development lifecycle—reducing costs while enhancing service quality. On retirement, Mr. Gully plans to provide board service and engage with university students pursuing careers in information technology. For him, sharing hard won insights is a meaningful way to give back to the community that has shaped his journey.
