During the 2008-2010 financial crisis, Mr. Hopkins faced significant losses that became remarkable learning experiences, shaping his personal resilience and his approach to others navigating life's challenges and transformations. Shortly before these events, Mr. Hopkins' daughter was born in 2006, and upon her arrival, he became a stepfather to two boys. Juggling complex vocational obligations with fatherhood, much of Mr. Hopkins' decision-making was driven by his responsibility to create a safe, stable sanctuary for his children. Following a period of difficult life circumstances, including his 2014 divorce, Mr. Hopkins turned his attention inward, focusing on self-development and navigating complex relationships. In 2017, he revitalized his coaching practice after rebuilding his life from the ground up. Outside of his primary work, Mr. Hopkins is proud to support several charities, including those that support suicide awareness and those that provide meals for families in need during the holidays, as well as other ongoing philanthropic endeavors. Mr. Hopkins earned a bachelor's degree in health care administration from Ashford University (now known as the University of Arizona Global Campus) in 2015, graduating with high honors.
