The event, held at 11:30 a.m., included the delivery of 500 pilgrimage credentials, provided by the City Council of Massamagrell, reaffirming the commitment of local institutions to the development and promotion of this cultural and spiritual itinerary.

The ceremony was attended by Ms. María Sebastián, delegate of Youth of the Diocese of Valencia, and Mr. Sergio Pelarda, advisor of the same delegation, who have promoted this initiative aimed at bringing the new generations closer to the Holy Chalice as a symbol of faith, history, and encounter.

The credentials were solemnly blessed by Mr. Álvaro Almenar, Canon Custodian of the Holy Chalice, in a gesture full of spiritual significance that marks the beginning of this new diocesan pilgrimage. Likewise, the Canon of Heritage of the Valencia Cathedral, Mr. José Verdeguer, expressed his gratitude for the continuous work of research, dissemination, and enhancement of the heritage developed by The Way of the Holy Grail.

Representing civil and institutional society, Dr. Ana Mafé García, president of the Cultural Association The Way of the Holy Grail, spoke, highlighting the importance of these credentials as an instrument of welcome, guidance, and recognition of the contemporary pilgrim, and Mr. Francisco Gómez Laserna, mayor-president of the City Council of Massamagrell, an entity that has made possible the transfer of the credentials as a sign of its commitment to the cultural and spiritual heritage linked to the Holy Chalice.

The event was also attended by prominent personalities from institutional, scientific, and cultural fields, including Mr. José Ribes, advisor of the Cultural Association The Way of the Holy Grail and parish priest of Massamagrell, Mr. Miquel Bailach, member of The Way of the Holy Grail in the City Council of Massamagrell and general secretary of the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP); members of the municipal corporation of Massamagrell; Dr. Fernando Molina Pons, vice president of the International Scientific Commission for Studies of the Holy Grail; Ms. Carmen de la Cagiga, president of the Union of Hispanic Nations (UNAHIS); Ms. Liuba Daniel, international director of The Way of the Holy Grail; Dr. Danielle Pimentel de Oliveira, member of the International Scientific Commission for Studies of the Holy Grail; and Mr. Jesús Gimeno Peris, secretary of the Cultural Association.

Along the same lines, the institutional support of the Provincial Council of Valencia stands out, through the provincial deputy of Tourism, Mr. Pedro Cuesta, who promotes actions aimed at the touristic and cultural valorisation of the territory.

The delivery and blessing of the credentials took place in an atmosphere of profound emotion and shared satisfaction, demonstrating the growing interest in The Way of the Holy Grail as a cultural, spiritual, and heritage itinerary that connects people with their roots, their history, and their identity.

This act represents a new step in the consolidation of The Way of the Holy Grail as a reference for contemporary pilgrimage and as an instrument for the transmission of cultural, spiritual, and social values, especially among young people.

Registration and participation:
