REDLANDS, CA, February 25, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jeff T. Grange, MD, MBA, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Grange has established a distinguished career in emergency medicine and entrepreneurship, demonstrating expertise and leadership across multiple roles. Since 2009, he has served as chief executive officer of Symbiosis in Redlands, California. In this capacity, Dr. Grange meets weekly with his management team to guide the organization's mission to transform health care delivery for patients, caregivers, and insurers. Under his leadership, Symbiosis leverages advanced technology, including telemedicine, to provide urgent care and mobile urgent care services outside traditional hospital settings. The company's innovative "treat, no transport" or "treat and release" approach allows patients who do not require hospitalization to receive necessary care at the scene, reducing unnecessary admissions and improving outcomes.

Dr. Grange has also served as an emergency physician and medical director at Symbiosis since 2001, where he continues to shape clinical protocols and patient care strategies. From 2007 to 2010, he contributed as an emergency medical technician at the same organization, further broadening his hands-on experience in pre-hospital care.

His academic contributions are notable as well. Dr. Grange was an associate professor of emergency medicine at Loma Linda University Health from 2003 to 2020, where he educated future physicians and advanced research in emergency medicine. He also served as medical director for the Air Rescue Team with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department from 1991 to 2019, overseeing air medical operations and supporting critical care initiatives.

Between 2003 and 2016, Dr. Grange acted as medical director for Score International, providing medical oversight for international motorsports events. As emergency medical services director at Loma Linda University Health from 1999 to 2015, he managed pre-hospital care programs and developed training curricula for emergency personnel.

A significant milestone in Dr. Grange's career was founding the Emergency Medical Services fellowship at Loma Linda University Health in 2004. As director until 2012, he established one of the nation's first programs to train emergency physicians in pre-hospital and out-of-hospital care, before the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education accredited such fellowships.
From 1995 to 2009, Dr. Grange served as Medical Director at California Speedway for NASCAR and Indycar motorsports events, ensuring comprehensive medical coverage for large-scale motorsports competitions. His earlier academic appointments include assistant professor at Loma Linda University Health from 1998 to 2003 and emergency physician at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center from 1999 to 2001.

Dr. Grange completed his emergency medicine residency at Loma Linda University Health in 1997, after earning his Doctor of Medicine from the same institution in 1994. He holds a Master of Business Administration from La Sierra University, awarded in 2011, and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Southern Adventist University, conferred in 1990.

He is certified in both Emergency Medicine and the Emergency Medical Services subspecialty by the American Board of Emergency Medicine for the period spanning 2015 to 2035. This credential underscores his commitment to maintaining excellence within his specialty.

Throughout his career, Dr. Grange has credited his mentor, Roger Penske, with instilling a philosophy that effort equals results, a principle that has guided his professional journey from clinical practice to entrepreneurial ventures. After sustaining a spinal cord injury from a car accident during decades of work in academic emergency medicine, Dr. Grange transitioned into business while remaining a dedicated physician entrepreneur.

His civic engagement includes serving as a volunteer doctor with the Air Medics for the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and holding board memberships with Aeromedevac Air Ambulance, Catalyst Insurance Ltd., and various nonprofit organizations. He has volunteered on medical missions in Tanzania and mentored health care provider trainees at numerous medical and nursing schools.

Dr. Grange's achievements have been recognized with several honors, including the Spirit of the Entrepreneur Award in Healthcare from California State University, San Bernardino, in 2023; inclusion on Inc. magazine's Fastest-Growing Private Companies list (Inc. 5000); and receipt of the Vanguard Award.

He has contributed extensively to the academic literature as a co-author or lead author on topics ranging from sports medicine to air medical support and event planning for mass gatherings. Notable works include "The Games: What Can the Sports Medicine Community Learn From Raves?" published in Current Sports Medicine Reports in 2014; "Helicopter Event Medical Support" and "Air Medical Research" featured by the Air Medical Physician Association; "Off-Road: EMS Caring for Racers South of the Border" published by Journal of Emergency Medical Services; "Motocross Medicine" in Current Sports Medicine Reports; "Live From Loma Linda: Telemedicine Project Brings Tertiary Care Center to the Field"; "Motorsports Medicine"; "Motorsports EMS: An Emerging Subspecialty"; "Street Bikes Versus Dirt Bikes: A Comparison of Injuries Among Motorcyclists Presenting to a Regional Trauma Center"; "On-Site Physicians Reduce Ambulance Transports at Mass Gatherings"; contributions to McGraw Hill Professional's "Sports Medicine Injuries and Emergencies"; "The California 500: Medical Care at a NASCAR Winston Cup Race"; "Violence Against Emergency Medical Services Personnel"; "Planning for Large Events"; "Concert Medicine: Spectrum of Medical Problems Encountered at 405 Major Concerts"; "Exposure of Prehospital Care Providers to Violence" and contributions to CRC Press' "GIS in Hospital and Healthcare Emergency Management."

He remains dedicated to advancing out-of-hospital care models that better serve patients, hospitals and insurers by enhancing efficiency without compromising quality. With ongoing developments in telemedicine and mobile health services, Dr. Grange continues to work toward a future in which patients can access timely care outside traditional hospital settings, improving experiences for all stakeholders in the health care system.
