TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 25, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michelle D. Jackson, MIS, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Jackson has established a distinguished 25-year career in the legal and corporate transactional field, marked by her expertise and leadership. Since 2025, she has served as a senior corporate paralegal at Rees Broome, PC, where she is responsible for attending meetings related to various transactions, drafting transactional documents, writing consents, articles of merger, and resolutions for attorney review. She also edits documents for attorneys and compiles closing sets, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in corporate transactional work.

Prior to joining Rees Broome, PC, Ms. Jackson was a paralegal at A&O Shearman from 2024 to 2025. In this capacity, she contributed to complex legal matters across multiple practice areas, further refining her skills in mergers and acquisitions, banking, securitizations, real estate and corporate law. Her tenure at Allen & Overy, now known as A&O Shearman, from 2022 to 2025 in Baltimore and Washington, D.C., provided her with additional experience in high-stakes legal environments.

From 2013 to 2022, Ms. Jackson served as a corporate paralegal at Greenstein DeLorme & Luchs, P.C., in Washington, District of Columbia. There, she played a pivotal role in supporting attorneys by preparing and filing documents and managing various real estate transactions. Her earlier experience includes serving as a paralegal and notary public at Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation in Falls Church, Virginia, from 2011 to 2013. She previously worked as a paralegal at Northrop Grumman Information Technology, Inc. from 2005 to 2011, where she was instrumental in supporting the organization's legal operations.

Ms. Jackson began her civilian legal career as a legal assistant at McKee Nelson from 2000 to 2005. Her foundational years in this role set the stage for her subsequent achievements and advancement within the profession.

Before entering the civilian sector, Ms. Jackson served nearly eight years in the United States Army. She began her military service as a paralegal in the Judge Advocate General's Corps before becoming a commissioned officer. Her military background instilled discipline and a commitment to excellence that have been evident throughout her professional journey.

A testament to her dedication and perseverance is Ms. Jackson's achievement of working full-time as a corporate and transactional paralegal while simultaneously earning her master's degree. This accomplishment reflects the values her parents imparted, particularly the importance of education, and stands as one of her proudest milestones.

Ms. Jackson is recognized for her expertise in corporate transactional work and is an active member of the National Notary Association.

Her academic credentials include a 2005 master's degree in computer information systems from the University of Phoenix. This advanced education has equipped her with technical acumen that complements her legal expertise. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government with a minor in Philosophy from Mary Baldwin University, completed in 1989. The combination of these academic achievements has been instrumental in supporting her success across diverse roles within the legal field.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Jackson is deeply engaged with civic organizations and community initiatives. She serves as a board member for Next Gen Giving Circle and volunteers with Soldiers' Angels. Her involvement includes the Black Doll Affair and teaching Sunday School to children ages 6 and under at her local church, St. John's Baptist Church in Arlington, VA. Additionally, she mentors young women within her church community.

In recognition of her impact on both law and military service, Ms. Jackson was honored as part of the 2025 Influential Women Series with the Trailblazer in Law and Military Service award.

Outside of her career and civic commitments, Ms. Jackson enjoys reading, editing books for a select group of authors and vigorous discussions on a variety of topics. Recently, she has been inspired and encouraged to begin her own writing career. She finds fulfillment in singing, cooking, traveling, listening to music and watching movies.

Looking ahead, Ms. Jackson envisions continuing to contribute by training both paralegals and attorneys while encouraging them to focus on the core principles of law. As she prepares for retirement, she aims to live life on her own terms and find personal fulfillment. Guided by the belief that helping others gives life meaning, she is committed to empowering young Black girls and challenging discriminatory attitudes, demonstrating that love can transcend barriers of race, class or finances, as well as all forms of division.
