Previously, Ms. Johnson served as Director and Analytical Lead in the Global Mutual Funds Ratings Group from 2007 to 2020, overseeing the evaluation of global mutual funds and reinforcing consistent global analytical standards. She also served a prestigious ex patriate assignment in London, covering European and Asian fixed income mutual funds. enhancing quality assurance processes and improving the accuracy and reliability of ratings.
From 2013 to 2015, at S&P Global, Ms. Johnson served as Analytical Practice Head for Financial Services within Global Regulatory Affairs, and as Group Project Manager for the Quality Review Board, leading initiatives that enhanced regulatory engagement, internal controls, and analytical consistency across the enterprise and practice, respectively.
Earlier in her career, from 2003 to 2007, Ms. Johnson held the position of Analytical Manager of U.S. Tax-Exempt Structured Finance ratings, directing a team responsible for assessing complex municipal and structured finance transactions.
Ms. Johnson's academic background has been instrumental in her professional accomplishments. She earned a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Jackson State University. Her combined legal and quantitative training shaped her disciplined approach to fiduciary oversight, regulatory governance, and enterprise risk management.
