His practice encompasses traditional labor law, collective bargaining, union negotiations, maintaining nonunion status, mergers and acquisitions, arbitrations, and complex contract negotiations. Over the course of his career, he has negotiated more than 250 collective bargaining agreements, consistently securing management-favorable contracts that reduce labor costs while improving productivity. He has successfully established multi year agreements that provide stability and measurable financial benefit to employers.

In addition, he has managed more than 100 union elections, maintaining nonunion status in all but four cases—an exceptional record that underscores his effectiveness and leadership in labor relations.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Nobil was a founding partner of Millisor and Nobil Co. LPA from 1975 to 2011, where he built a reputation for results-driven legal counsel and played a pivotal role in shaping the firm's labor and employment practice. He began his legal career in 1972 with Fisher & Phillips in Atlanta, laying the foundation for a practice that would span more than five decades.

Beyond his legal career, Mr. Nobil demonstrated a longstanding commitment to health and discipline by serving as an instructor of high-intensity cardiovascular conditioning classes for more than two decades—an uncommon distinction that reflects his energy, focus, and dedication both inside and outside the courtroom.

He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in English and Business from Baldwin Wallace University in 1969, where he played collegiate football and still holds a University record of having intercepted three passes in one game. He received his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University in 1972.

An active member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and American Bar Association, Mr. Nobil has also demonstrated a deep commitment to civic leadership. He has served as a board member and former president of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and has supported charitable initiatives with the Alzheimer's Association, Blue Coats of America, Diabetes Association, Cleveland Browns Foundation and the Folds of Honor. He also served on the boards of Baldwin Wallace University and the American Heart Association.

In recognition of his professional excellence, Mr. Nobil has been included in Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers, named among America's Leading Lawyers for Business by Chambers and Partners, and recognized as a Leading Labor and Employment Attorney by Inside Business. He has also earned the AV-Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
