Having built a remarkable career of more than four decades across the fields of engineering, ministry, consulting and military service, Mr. Petrash currently serves as the owner of City Wide Facility Solutions of Southern Arizona, a local franchise location of City Wide Facility Solutions out of Kansas City - a premier management company with over 60 years of experience, specializing in commercial facility services across the U.S. and Canada.

Since 2018, Mr. Petrash has overseen the growth and operations of this multimillion-dollar enterprise, which provides commercial cleaning and facility management solutions to regional businesses. Alongside his wife, he has cultivated a company culture that emphasizes both professional excellence and community engagement, including initiatives that allow employees paid time for volunteer charity work each quarter.

In addition to his ownership role at City Wide Facility Solutions, Mr. Petrash works as an industry technical consultant for Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, where he applies his expertise in industrial water treatment to help clients address complex climate and water-related challenges. He is further engaged as a corporate trainer with ABTech, a company specializing in the removal of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) pollutants. Across each of these capacities, he is recognized for his ability to disseminate information effectively and make technical knowledge more relatable for businesses, employees and industries alike.

From 2016 to 2024, Mr. Petrash served as a pastor at Connections Vineyard Church in Tucson, Arizona. Over the course of more than two decades in ministry — including his tenure as a senior pastor at Grace Point Vineyard Church in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire — he has provided spiritual guidance to numerous individuals. He brings an approach grounded in humility and outward-focused relationships, encouraging congregants to shift their perspectives from self-centeredness to contributions toward their community. This philosophy is reflected in his teaching methods and leadership style, both within the church and throughout his business endeavors.

Elsewhere in the water treatment sector, Mr. Petrash was an applications manager at Solenis from 2017 to 2018 after serving as the regional sales director for the western region from 2015 to 2017 and southwest area manager from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, he held the positions of applications manager at Ashland Water Technologies from 2010 to 2013 and manager of technical training for global sales at Siemens Water Technologies from 2010 to 2011.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Petrash worked as the director of technical training and development at Barclay Water Management from 2004 to 2008. He also led the northeast power team as sales leader for General Electric (GE) Water and Process Technologies from 1998 to 2004 following eight years as a sales engineer with Calgon beginning in 1990.

Mr. Petrash began his multidisciplinary professional journey with military service in the United States Navy from 1980 to 1988. During this period, he served aboard nuclear submarines as a nuclear engineer — a formative experience that instilled in him discipline, technical acumen and a lifelong commitment to service.

To share insights and remain aware of best practices across his diverse leadership roles, Mr. Petrash has been an active member of industry organizations including the National Association of Corrosion Engineers, the Electric Power Research Institute and the Association of Water Technologies.

Mr. Petrash is also an ordained pastor through The Vineyard Denomination — a credential that has underpinned his decades-long commitment to ministry and community leadership. Reflecting on his storied impact to date, he attributes his success to God's grace, acknowledging that perseverance through challenges has shaped both his personal character and professional achievements.

Also known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen, Mr. Petrash enjoys aiding local arts organizations such as The Fox Theater in Tucson as well as Arts Express. He is a donor to semi-professional theater groups — sponsoring multiple concerts or productions each month — and supports musical theater programs for children within the community.

As a balance to his professional endeavors, Mr. Petrash continues to engage in ministry activities and enjoys traveling with his wife Trina. Together they have six children — one son, two daughters, one stepson and two stepdaughters — and share a passion for both musical theater and community involvement.

Drawing on his many experiences bridging faith, service and leadership across multiple fields to guide others on their own paths, Mr. Petrash has authored a new book titled "The Ripple of Faith," which is scheduled for release in March 2026 following a year-long writing process and collaboration with editors and publishers.

In the coming years, Mr. Petrash plans to retire alongside his wife after transitioning their ownership of City Wide Facility Solutions. Their future aspirations include traveling extensively in their motorhome, enjoying quality time with their grandchildren and exploring national parks across the country.
