TUCSON, AZ, March 06, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lauren A. Audette has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Audette's professional journey is distinguished by her expertise in family law and her steady ascent through the legal field. Since 2022, she has served as managing partner and owner of Liberty, Audette & Associates, where she oversees mediation and litigation in family law.
Her tenure at Liberty, Audette & Associates began in 2017 when she was invited by (retired) Attorney, Pamela Liberty, to join the firm as an attorney and future mediator of her firm. This partnership marked a pivotal moment in Ms. Audette's career, ultimately culminating in the formation of Liberty, Audette and Associates. Following Ms. Liberty's retirement in 2021, Ms. Audette formally acquired the firm and retained the well-known "Liberty" name. Taking over the firm from Ms. Liberty—an esteemed figure in the family law community in Tucson—remains one of Ms. Audette's most significant achievements, fulfilling her goal of becoming a legal partner early in her career, and earning the trust of a valued mentor and legal pillar in the community. Due to this mentor-mentee relationship, Ms. Audette was able to advance her legal career into family law mediation. With the tutelage of Ms. Liberty, Ms. Audette broadened the scope of her legal services through alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Liberty & Ms. Audette continue their ongoing collaboration on nonprofit initiatives in the Tucson community.
In addition, Ms. Audette manages the daily business and administrative operations of her firm, including staffing, payroll, billing and individual case invoicing. In this capacity, Ms. Audette earned valuable business insight while she continues to work hands-on with her dedicated senior paralegal and administrative team. Ms. Audette ensures that she extends significant time preparing cases each day, so that each client is sincerely and individually served.
Prior to her leadership role at Liberty, Audette & Associates, from 2015-2016 Ms. Audette worked as a law clerk for Attorney, Zachary Spanier, a partner at Giordano Spanier & Heckele, PLLC. Upon becoming a member of the State Bar of Arizona in 2016, Ms. Audette then served as a staff Associate Attorney at Giordano Spanier & Heckele, PLLC until 2017. While there, Ms. Audette's responsibilities included representing clients in complex family law and domestic violence matters. Ms. Audette also gained valuable experience by actively assisting the lead attorney in case strategy development and legal research.
In 2015, Ms. Audette became a member of the State Bar of California – where her initial legal career began. From 2012 to 2015, while finishing her law degree in San Diego, California, Ms. Audette also co-formed a nonprofit organization known as Counter Balance Foundation for Victims of Crime. Ms. Audette then served as Executive Secretary to the board of directors at Counter Balance during this time. In addition to her nonprofit service in San Diego, Ms. Audette worked as a certified law clerk from 2012-2015 at the Law Offices of Cassandra Hearn, APC. While there, Ms. Audette assisted Ms. Hearn in handling criminal defense and family law casework, while they advocated for victims' rights through Counter Balance. This initial entry into the realm of family law and helping victims of violent crime provided Ms. Audette with invaluable perspective.
From 2010 to 2012, while completing her Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Arizona, Ms. Audette became a research assistant and basic forensic interviewer at Southern Arizona Children's Advocacy Center, providing her with further foundational experience serving families. Her insight into child advocacy and forensic interviewing techniques has continued to support her approach to family law cases and advocating for juvenile and adult victims of domestic abuse.
Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Audette is dedicated to civic engagement and advocacy work. Since 2017, she has volunteered as an attorney with Step Up to Justice in Tucson, Arizona, providing pro bono services to underserved populations in family law. She is also the founder and director of the nonprofit organization, Bullfrog: School Bullying Prevention Program since 2010 - a testament to her commitment to youth advocacy.
Ms. Audette's commitment to her professional development is reflected in her active memberships with several industry organizations across California and Arizona. She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona since 2016; a member of the State Bar of California since 2015; a volunteer member with the Children at Risk Committee of the San Diego County Bar Association since 2013; a volunteer member with the Lawyer's Club of San Diego since 2012; a member of the San Diego County Bar Association since 2012; a member of the Pima County Bar Association since 2016; and a volunteer attorney for Step Up to Justice, in Tucson Arizona since 2017.
Her accomplishments have been recognized by peers and institutions alike: she was most recently named among the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" in the Tucson Lifestyle Magazine in 2025 and 2026.
Ms. Audette's academic background has been instrumental in shaping her career trajectory. In 2015, she earned a Juris Doctor in law from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California, where she was recognized with the Thomas Jefferson Medal for High Honors in 2014. In 2011, Ms. Audette received her Master's Degree in Public Administration, with a concentration in criminal justice, from the University of Arizona. Ms. Audette also received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Arizona in 2007.
In 2003, Ms. Audette relocated from Massachusetts to Arizona at eighteen years old, requiring her to rebuild her personal and professional networks from the ground up, a challenge that fostered resilience and adaptability. She attributes much of her success to personal networking, and values Tucson's unique blend of opportunity and community spirit. Through years spent working across various legal settings, she has developed a deep appreciation for forming genuine relationships with people and supporting local businesses in her community.
In her personal life, Ms. Audette enjoys volunteering within her community, playing soccer, cooking, and spending time at home with her dogs and family.
Looking ahead, Ms. Audette seeks to deepen her involvement with victims of violence and their families by addressing systemic disconnects between support systems for children and families affected by these cases, particularly through the juvenile and family law legal systems. Whether through judicial service or policy influence informed by her background in political science, she remains committed to bridging gaps within these critical systems, ensuring that whenever a child is involved in legal proceedings, the family receives comprehensive support.
Ms. Audette's career reflects not only expertise in family law, but also an unwavering dedication to advocacy, mentorship, and community service – qualities that continue to define her professional legacy.
