Her academic journey began with a Baccalaureate Diploma from the Academy of Grenoble, France, in 1973, followed by a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, in 1981. Continuing her studies, Dr. Mili received a Master of Public Health in epidemiology from Emory University in Atlanta in 1989, completed coursework for a postdoctoral epidemiology fellowship through the Epidemic Intelligence Service at the CDC between 1989 and 1991, and earned a Doctor of Philosophy in epidemiology from Emory University in 1997.

Active in her professional sphere, Dr. Mili is a member of organizations such as the Epidemic Intelligence Service Alumni Association, the CDC Employee Association of Emory Alumni, and the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors.
