Hailing from four decades of leadership roles across the engineering, sales and business management in manufacturing and nearly two decades in alternative energy sectors, Mr. Taylor has made a significant impact as the owner and chief executive officer of DCE Solar, a mounting hardware and consulting firm he founded in 2008 that specializes in the delivery, distribution and installation of cost-effective solar racking systems DCE Services, that builds commercial and utility solar / battery powerplants along with DCE Design, an electrical design firm specifically for solar. His extensive experience in management and company growth has been pivotal in establishing DCE's prominence within the renewable energy product, design and construction sector.

Prior to founding DCE, Mr. Taylor excelled as vice president of sales and partner at Moisture Warranty Corporation from 2006 to 2008. Overseeing a range of responsibilities including marketing, sales forecasting and business development, he was pivotal in expanding the company's market presence and developing strategic partnerships that contributed to its long-term growth.

From 1998 to 2005, Mr. Taylor served as a national sales manager at Daetwyler USA — the culmination of more than two decades with the company — where he was responsible for overseeing cross-functional teams in engineering, sales and service with a focus on collaboration to achieve results for Fortune 500 clients. His leadership during this period in particular helped to solidify Daetwyler's position as a nationwide machinery and automation leader in the printing and packaging market.

Before ascending to his national sales management role, Mr. Taylor held the role of technical sales and project manager at Daetwyler for over five years, during which he responsible for business development, forecasting, preparing accurate budgeting and provided turnkey installation cost estimates for new facility designs.

Earlier in his tenure at Daetwyler, Mr. Taylor was a national service manager from 1989 to 1993, leading engineering staff, support cross-functional teams and ensuring high standards of customer assistance across the commercial printing industry. He began his professional journey as a service engineer from 1984 to 1989, gaining hands-on customer support and equipment management experience that laid a strong foundation for his future leadership roles.

Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. Taylor pursued higher education and earned an electrical engineering degree from New York Institute of Technology in 1983 and attended the Farmingdale State College (SUNY) mechanical engineering degree program in 1980. The technical knowledge acquired through both of these programs has been fundamental to his ability to innovate and lead within highly specialized industries.

Throughout his career, Mr. Taylor has received significant recognition for his achievements and outstanding business management, with DCE Solar named among the Fastest Growing Companies in Solar Energy from 2022 to 2025 and earning placement on the influential Inc. 5000 list in 2023. Reflecting on his storied journey to date, he attributes much of his enduring success to the encouragement and support of his mother, whose unwavering love and belief in his abilities which continues to inspire him personally and professionally.

Outside of his commitments with DCE Solar, Mr. Taylor maintains an active lifestyle through fitness training activities as well as playing tennis, golf and pickleball.
