Prior to joining Equifax, Mr. Stoddard served as a senior cybersecurity engineer specializing in offensive security at T-Mobile from 2022 to 2025. During his tenure, he led the company's vulnerability and exploitation program for approximately a year and a half. Under his leadership, there were no security incidents tied to vulnerabilities, and his team successfully closed hundreds of thousands of gaps across thousands of systems, protecting the data of millions of users. His outstanding performance earned him T-Mobile's Q2 T-Defender Award in 2024.
From 2021 to 2022, Mr. Stoddard served as a senior cybersecurity vulnerability analyst at Reyes Holdings, following his initial role as a cyber threat responder in 2021, where he helped redesign and improve the vulnerability program. In these capacities, he was instrumental in identifying and mitigating cyber threats, ensuring robust protection for enterprise operations, and ensuring remediation of active threats. During his spare time, Mr. Stoddard instructed the Cybersecurity Bootcamp for Georgia Tech through EdX (formerly Trilogy). He covered topics such as incident response, vulnerability management, ethical hacking, and core cybersecurity fundamentals.
Between 2018 and 2021, Mr. Stoddard contributed as a cybersecurity engineer at Scientific Research Corporation. He played a key role in developing secure systems and supporting technical initiatives that enhanced the company's cybersecurity posture while designing and rebuilding system foundations that continue to support over 2,000 Marines worldwide. A legacy he regards as a significant contribution to not only national security, but also one of the most impactful of his professional career.
Mr. Stoddard's professional journey began with five years of service in the United States Marine Corps from 2012 to 2017, during which he served in multiple roles across two deployments, ending as an S3-E manager, responsible for the maintenance and readiness of over 15 million dollars' worth of mission essential gear. Specializing in signals intelligence with direct ties to cybersecurity, he was responsible for intelligence efforts, intelligence systems, and the training of intelligence personnel. Much of his work remains sensitive.
Throughout his career, Mr. Stoddard has demonstrated exceptional commitment to professional development. He has been a member of several industry-related organizations, including CompTIA, ISC2, and EC-Council. He has also been nominated for local honor societies in recognition of his achievements.
Mr. Stoddard's academic background has been foundational to his success in cybersecurity. He earned a Master of Science in cybersecurity and information assurance from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City in 2022, after completing a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the same institution in 2021. He previously obtained an Associate of Science in cybersecurity from Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu in 2020. While pursuing his degrees, Mr. Stoddard was nominated for and accepted into three honor societies, including Omicron Sigma Sigma: The Order of the Soldier's Shield at Western Governors University, Alpha Chi National College Honor Society, and the National Society of Leadership and Success.

Born in Charleston, Mr. Stoddard overcame significant challenges during his upbringing, experiencing homelessness three times before adulthood, as well as abandonment by both parents. Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. Stoddard enjoys spending time with his family, including two sons, training in jiu-jitsu, reading and playing video games.
