In 1999, she founded Debsoft Solutions Inc, a consulting business that marked her transition from computer consulting management to entrepreneurship. This move was driven by her desire for independence and enabled her to significantly expand her real estate investments, ultimately owning and managing approximately 160 units by 2020.

Prior to launching Debsoft Solutions, Ms. Pusatere held the position of computer consulting manager at Fleet Bank in 1999. She played a pivotal role in overseeing the Y2K transition for the bank's systems, ensuring operational continuity during a critical period for the financial industry. Concurrently, she taught aerobics part-time at a local gym, maintaining her dedication to fitness instruction while managing property responsibilities.

Ms. Pusatere began her professional journey as a computer operator with the State of New York's Office of Court Administration after completing her studies. In this capacity, she worked demanding 12-hour shifts that allowed her to continue her education. Upon completing additional coursework, she advanced to a programming position where she contributed to the development of the criminal Supreme Court online system known as CRMS. This platform remains in use today.

Her professional affiliations underscore her commitment to excellence within her fields of expertise. Ms. Pusatere is an active member of the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce, Capital Region Chamber of Commerce, Colonie Chamber of Commerce, the Real Estate Boards, the Lake George Association, the Greater Capital Association of Realtors, the Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Brokers, American College of Sports Medicine (ASM), ASH and WellHub. She is also a past president of the New York Capital Region Apartment Association (now Apartment Professionals Trade Society of New York).

Ms. Pusatere's academic journey, which laid the foundation for her multifaceted career, began in 1980 with an Associate of Arts degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology. During this time, she adeptly balanced her studies with various responsibilities, including teaching exercise classes alongside her college roommate, Colleen.

She later earned an Associate of Science degree in computer science from the Junior College of Albany, then advanced her education with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and a minor in applied mathematics from Russell Sage College. Her father's role as an educator at the institution provided invaluable inspiration throughout her studies there.

Her credentials include a New York Broker's license and numerous fitness certifications, both of which have supported her achievements in real estate and fitness instruction, respectively. Ms. Pusatere attributes much of her success to divine guidance, crediting God with opening doors and providing motivation throughout her professional journey.

Beyond her business pursuits, Ms. Pusatere is dedicated to civic engagement and philanthropy. She supports local animal shelters, contributes to efforts to assist people experiencing homelessness, and donates to organizations such as the Capital City Rescue Mission of Albany and Schenectady.

Born in Albany, Ms. Pusatere cherishes boating on Lake George, where she savors the scenic views and tranquility of nature. Looking ahead, she plans to channel this passion for wellness and community by developing a new holistic wellness center—complete with additional local locations—and purchasing a local live music tavern, infusing it with her unique flair—including healthy, homemade tavern food and drinks—to keep live music alive.

She is also collaborating with industry professionals on an artificial intelligence platform focused on fitness accessibility, an initiative designed to ensure that everyone has the resources needed for better health.
