Since 2022, Mrs. LaMore has also served as a rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) certified personal development coach, through which she provides guidance to clients seeking personal growth and self-determination. Her nearly decade-long career in social work has been marked by a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by adults with disabilities as she continues to fill a crucial gap in the support they receive.

Prior to founding her own company, Mrs. LaMore excelled as the chief operating officer of Growing Roots in Comstock Park from 2022 to 2024. Driving a remarkable 90% increase in productivity and efficiency across departments, she oversaw daily operations and contributed to the organization's mission of supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving greater independence.

From 2018 to 2022, Mrs. LaMore held the position of director of operations at Abundant Home Corp, where she mentored an in-home care team and ensured quality service delivery for clients who required specialized care. During this period, she made a significant impact by assisting a non-verbal autistic adult female exhibiting highly aggressive behavior and her family in building a sustainable home environment with a dedicated care team. Her efforts enabled the family to recruit and manage their own caregivers under the concept of self-determination, fostering autonomy and agency for their daughter. Many other families have since utilized her support to develop comparable living situations tailored to their specific requirements.

Mrs. LaMore's earlier experience includes two years as the assistant area director at Real Life Living Services in Grand Rapids, following her initial role there as an area supervisor. Before entering the social work sector, Mrs. LaMore gained valuable administrative experience as an office manager and the director of operations at Unity Home Improvement and Michigan Gutter Cap in Comstock Park from 2010 to 2015. She began her professional journey as the group sales manager at Celebration! Cinema — which specializes in music, film and dining events — from 2003 to 2008.

Mrs. LaMore's outstanding efforts in serving families, individuals and communities have seen her recognized through several features, including articles in Bold Journey Magazine and Voyage Michigan in 2025. Furthermore, she was selected for inclusion in Voyage GR's Who's Who in Grand Rapids for Businesses as well as Who's Who in Grand Rapids for Female Entrepreneurs.

Dedicated to the ideals of continuous learning, Mrs. LaMore earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with minors in psychology and organizational leadership from Southern New Hampshire University in 2025. She also holds an associate degree in business administration and management from Grand Rapids Community College, which has directly contributed to her effectiveness as a leader and advocate within both business management and human behavior.

Along with her education, Mrs. Lamore credits her success to having exceptional mentors — particularly the influence of Sonia Sundberg, the director of Abundant Home and Emily Loeks, the director of educational and community outreach at Celebration! Cinema — as well as the many friends and colleagues who have supported her growth throughout her career.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Mrs. LaMore has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to community service and youth development. She served as the marketing and growth director for Rams Hockey Organization from 2013 to 2018, volunteered with Parent Teacher Association groups and supported various advocacy organizations in West Michigan. Furthermore, she has contributed time as a volunteer with Growing Roots and participated in community group initiatives that provide shelter in her local community.

Also a devoted family woman, Mrs. LaMore has been happily married for over 21 years and is the proud mother of three children. In her personal time, she enjoys gardening, reading, listening to music, playing volleyball and hosting gatherings for her family and friends.

Looking to the future, Mrs. LaMore intends to expand Refinement Principle so she can focus more on strategic leadership while ensuring that her employees receive livable wages and opportunities for advancement within the organization.
