HAMPSTEAD, NH, March 12, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mona Dickson Jensen, PhD, MBA, genealogy researcher, biochemist, author and president of Jensen Craft Enterprises Inc., was selected by Marquis Who's Who for a prominent feature in the February 2026 Burlington/Manchester/Portland, Vermont, regional issue of TIME magazine.
Dr. Jensen has achieved a high level of success throughout her career of more than four decades. As the co-founder and president of Jensen Craft Enterprises Inc., she has utilized her breadth of knowledge in the corporate sector to promote her research and interests in clinical chemistry. Alongside serving as a business leader, Dr. Jensen specializes in genealogy research, history, biochemistry and authorship. She recently announced the publication of her history and genealogy book, "Everyone is Related: Genealogy of an American Family." Notably, the first book in the trilogy was published in October 2024 and comprises five volumes. Previously, Dr. Jensen served in several capacities at biochemical companies, including in managerial roles at IDEXX Laboratories Inc. and the Instrumentation Laboratory. She also worked as an adjunct faculty member at the W. Alton Jones Cell Science Center in Lake Placid, New York, in the 1970s. A researcher, biochemist, senior scientist and research and development manager throughout her career, she is bolstered by her expertise in general clinical chemistry. To this end, Dr. Jensen holds two patents and is highly regarded for her development of clinical assay reagents and instruments that have been pivotal in determining both human and veterinary medical diagnoses. Likewise, she has conducted leading research on environmental control in cell culture.
The recipient of research grants from the World Health Organization during the early 1980s, Dr. Jensen has been a special reviewer for In Vitro, a proposal reviewer for the National Science Foundation, and a sub-communications advisor to the National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards. To remain abreast of developments in her areas of interest, she is active with the American Chemical Society, the American Association for Clinical Chemistry, the American Philatelic Society, and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Looking ahead, Dr. Jensen aims to continue her genealogy research while cementing her legacy as a role model for women. She attributes her success to her mother and grandmother's positive, resounding influence.
EDUCATION HIGHLIGHTS
Dr. Jensen pursued a formal education in the 1960s and graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in 1966. She continued her studies at Cornell University, achieving a Doctor of Philosophy in biochemistry in 1973. Ten years later, she was awarded a Master of Business Administration in finance from Babson College. Her mother, who was a celebrated mathematics teacher, inspired her to pursue a career in mathematics and the sciences.
