APOLLO BEACH, FL, March 12, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Millennia (Millie) Lytle has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Marked by more than 25 years of contributions as a consultant, public speaker, author and researcher, Dr. Lytle has led a distinguished career in natural medicine and integrative health. For nearly a decade, she has served as a natural medicine consultant and the owner of Eating for Meaning, LLC, where she provides personalized guidance on natural medicine and holistic wellness and empowers individuals of all backgrounds to achieve their optimal health through evidence-based practices.
In 2024, Dr. Lytle also assumed the role of director of programs at The School of Applied Functional Medicine, a virtual continuing education school, after nearly 10 years with the institution. Overseeing curriculum development and program implementation, she ensures that students receive comprehensive training in the principles of functional medicine. Concurrently, she served as level 3 exam coordinator from 2023 to 2025, managing examination processes and supporting student advancement after joining as an accredited functional medicine certification examiner in 2017.
Expanding her horizons within the technology sector, Dr. Lytle contributed her expertise as a content reviewer and trainer for Big Ten Tech at GlobalLogic — a leading data, design and digital engineering firm in Austin, Texas — from 2024 to 2025. During this time, she was responsible for training large language models (LLMs) in the intricacies of health and medicine as well as in generalized content.
From 2021 to 2023, Dr. Lytle was the director of coaching at Mymee in New York City, leading a team dedicated to supporting clients with chronic illnesses such as long COVID-19 and autoimmune disease. She initially joined the firm as head of coaching from 2019 to 2021, during which she developed coaching protocols and oversaw quality assurance initiatives.
Elsewhere in New York City, Dr. Lytle practiced as a doctor of naturopathic medicine at Tournesol Wellness, which designs personalized programs for individuals seeking to enhance their health as well as businesses investing in the long-term wellness of their employees. Over the course of five years, she integrated conventional and alternative therapies to address a variety of complex health concerns.
From 2012 to 2015, Dr. Lytle was a nutritional director and compliance officer at InVite Health in Westbury, New York, where she was responsible for promotional health initiatives as well as furthering nutritional education. She was also a host of InVite Health Radio.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Lytle gained valuable international experience as a project coordinator for the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in Toronto, Canada. In this role from 2011 to 2012, she oversaw public health initiatives aimed at improving community well-being through enhanced provider care and collaborative practices.
A pivotal period in Dr. Lytle's journey occurred between 2006 and 2009, when she was a naturopathic doctor and research practitioner at the START Clinic for Mood and Anxiety Disorders in Toronto. Her most notable achievement during this time was conducting an acupuncture study that addressed sexual dysfunction caused by antidepressant medications. This groundbreaking work led to her publication with the National Library of Medicine and introduced her to integrative medicine, the field that would shape her subsequent career trajectory.
Dr. Lytle further advanced integrative care as the naturopathic doctor for a primary integrative program led by Dr. Marty Ehrlich at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City. The program, which operated within a major hospital system and exemplified the future of collaborative care models, was a success but ultimately cut short due to budget shifts.
Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Dr. Lytle earned a Master of Public Health from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany in 2010, equipping her with advanced knowledge in population health management and research methodologies that have informed her clinical practice and program leadership roles. She obtained a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2002, providing her with comprehensive training in natural therapies and integrative approaches that underpin her work across clinical settings. Her international education began with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from University of Toronto - Woodsworth College in 1998.
Dr. Lytle also became certified as a nutrition specialist in 2013, demonstrating her expertise in advanced nutritional science and its application to patient care. During the early stages of her professional journey, she was certified as a hypnotherapist in 2006, expanding her therapeutic repertoire to include mind-body interventions.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Lytle has demonstrated her longstanding commitment to civic engagement through various volunteer roles. She served as a team leader for New York Cares after volunteering with the organization from 2016 to 2020, contributing her time and leadership to community service initiatives throughout New York City. In 2012, she was the program director for Naturopathic Medicine for Global Health, where she coordinated efforts aimed at improving access to natural health care worldwide. From 1996 to 1998, she was involved in both administrative and fundraising responsibilities with Willow Breast & Hereditary Cancer Support.
Alongside her primary tasks with Eating for Meaning, Dr. Lytle has contributed written works such as 2014's "Eating for Meaning Workbook," a resource designed to guide individuals toward healthier eating habits through practical strategies rooted in nutritional science, as well as 2015's "Eating for Meaning: Guide to Detox," which provides a comprehensive step-by-step plan for readers seeking to increase their metabolism.
Determined to further her impact in the coming years, Dr. Lytle aims to inspire and support more young people — particularly those without financial resources — by sharing her experiences publicly and offering guidance on achieving better health outcomes while avoiding preventable stressors or chronic diseases. Her ultimate goal is to improve the human health span to help as many individuals as possible live longer, healthier and happier lives all around.
