HUNTINGTON, NY, March 13, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gabrielle Marie Ricca-Caldon, LMHC, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Drawing on nearly a decade of professional experience and a deep personal understanding of the challenges faced by her clients, Ms. Ricca-Caldon has established herself as a leading expert in treating women with high-functioning anxiety. Since 2023, she has served as a licensed mental health counselor at Phoenix Within Mental Health Counseling Services, where she provides telehealth counseling to more than 40 clients each week. In addition to providing direct client care, she is responsible for administrative tasks such as email correspondence, financial oversight and communication with insurance companies, all of which drive the facility's ongoing success in serving individuals, couples and families in need.

Ms. Caldon's approach is distinguished by her commitment to prioritizing the well-being of her clients over profit, often adjusting her fees to ensure continued access to care for those experiencing financial hardship or loss of insurance coverage. She finds profound fulfillment in the gratitude expressed by clients whose lives and relationships have improved through her guidance, particularly when they recognize their intrinsic worth and let go of perfectionism.

Prior to joining Phoenix Within, Ms. Caldon contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at City University of New York College for two years, during which she shared her expertise and developed study materials for aspiring counselors and mental health professionals. She also worked at a private practice for five years, providing individualized support to clients who were navigating complex emotional and psychological issues while gaining valuable leadership experience.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Caldon expanded her business acumen during several years as an operations assistant and secretary at a hedge fund company. This experience afforded her unique insight into the pressures faced by high-achieving women in corporate environments — a perspective that now informs her empathetic and effective therapeutic approach at Phoenix Within.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. Caldon earned a Master of Education in mental health counseling from Hunter College in New York City — where she was also a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society — as well as a bachelor's degree in psychology from St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights. To augment her knowledge and ability to serve, she is licensed as a mental health counselor in both New York and Connecticut.

Also active within her professional community, Ms. Caldon is a member of the American Counseling Association, reflecting her ongoing engagement with developments in mental health care and advocacy for best practices in her ever-evolving field.

Beyond her achievements in mental health counseling and education, Ms. Caldon is passionate about animal care and advocacy initiatives. Civically engaged as a foster volunteer with Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, she is also a longtime supporter of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Ms. Caldon enjoys spending time with her two dogs, reading self-help and astrology books, practicing yoga, going to the gym, enjoying nature and spending time by the water. Inspired by guidance from her mother and grandparents as well as the lessons she has learned from overcoming her own personal setbacks, she remains committed to helping others rebuild their lives after adversity.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Caldon plans to expand her influence by using her creativity to dedicate practical advice for individuals who struggle with anxiety. She also envisions growing Phoenix Within by hiring additional professionals and developing accessible programs for those who may not be able to participate in traditional therapy settings. Through these initiatives, she aims to reach even more people who seek support on their journey toward mental wellness, deepening her longstanding legacy of compassionate leadership, service and continuous personal growth.
