By 2022, she was promoted to partner, a testament to her ability to build and develop the audit practice in an office that had previously focused primarily on tax services. As Connecticut audit and assurance practice leader from 2020 to 2024, she was instrumental in expanding the firm's audit capabilities and elevating its reputation for quality control. Between 2019 and 2020, Ms. Farber held several short-term positions in the private sector that broadened her financial management experience. She served as financial controller at David T. Chase Enterprises Inc. in 2020, as corporate accountant at Lodestar Energy from 2019 to 2020, and as financial controller and operations manager at Walter Surface Technologies in 2019. These roles allowed her to refine her skills in corporate finance and operational oversight.

From 2013 to 2018, Ms. Farber achieved one of her most significant career milestones as chief financial officer and vice president at Allied Printing. In this capacity, she reached the highest position in private industry while overseeing all aspects of financial strategy, planning and reporting for the organization. Prior to these roles, Ms. Farber was a supervisor at Saslow Lufkin & Buggy from 2003 to 2007, a senior at Kosovsky Protesy & Co. from 2002 to 2003, a senior accountant at Filomeno & Company from 1999 to 2002, and a staff accountant at Riggs & Associates LLP from 1998 to 1999. Each position contributed foundational experience that propelled her toward leadership roles.
