BROOMFIELD, CO, March 16, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Thomas Paul Brdar has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Brdar currently serves as the vice president of service operations at Design Mechanical, a role he has held since 2025. In this capacity, he ensures alignment among direct-report leaders on unified objectives, interacts directly and indirectly with customers and manages ongoing projects, with a focus on timely communication regarding major initiatives. He is responsible for ensuring that bids are submitted punctually, oversees technician operations, drives effective performance and proper service delivery, handles escalated issues and supervises all aspects of service operations to guarantee smooth business operation.

Prior to joining Design Mechanical, Mr. Brdar served for a short time as the regional service manager for the Pacific Southwest at Johnson Controls in 2025. During his tenure, he was tasked with several branches and their operations and development while continuing to manage the branch in Houston amid a significant corporate transition. Leading a team of hundreds of service personnel, managing a fleet of service trucks and overseeing back-office support staff, he served as both a mentor and a problem solver for branch service managers.

By educating his team on the rationale behind organizational changes, Mr. Brdar successfully helped to shift the culture within the organization. When Houston was struck by a severe windstorm and Hurricane Beryl, he implemented critical measures to support employees affected by the disaster, including arranging temporary housing and power for those experiencing extended power outages. His leadership during this period stands as one of his most notable professional achievements.

From 2021 to 2025, Mr. Brdar held the position of branch service manager at Johnson Controls. In this role, he managed daily operations, guided teams through periods of change and ensured high standards of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Between 2007 and 2020, he was employed at Trane Technologies plc. Over these 13 years, he worked his way through the ranks up to an Area Service manager where he developed a reputation for fostering growth within the service business and mentoring technicians within the organization.

Mr. Brdar began his civilian career as a field mechanic with Sylvan Piping from 2005 to 2007, where he gained foundational experience in the technical trades that would inform his later leadership roles. Before entering the skilled trades industry, he served for eight years in the United States National Guard and completed active-duty assignments with the United States Army during conflicts in the Middle East. Mr. Brdar's military service was recognized with the Army Commendation Medal for his contributions during deployment.

Transitioning into the trades through the Helmets to Hard Hats program, Mr. Brdar benefited from education funding and a subsistence allowance that offset his lower starting wage as an apprentice. This support enabled him to complete a five-year skilled trades program in 2008, earning a Journeyman's License and certification in technical heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration engineering technology from the Associated Builders and Contractors.

Mr. Brdar credits much of his success to leaders who invested in him throughout his career and believed in his potential. He values the confidence his mentors placed in him and strives to provide similar opportunities to those he now leads. For Mr. Brdar, true success is measured by the people around you — surrounding yourself with good individuals and building a positive culture. He believes that taking care of others is central to being both successful and a servant leader, especially by supporting people as they work to excel in roles through any circumstances.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Mr. Brdar maintains active involvement with civic-minded organizations such as Feeding America and participates in local church and community initiatives. In his personal life, he enjoys exploring the mountains, fishing with his children, and coaching his daughter's soccer team.

Looking ahead, Mr. Brdar aims to develop those around him while positioning others for succession within his organization. He seeks to recruit individuals with exceptional expertise who can lead cohesively and cultivate a team capable of sustained professional growth and operational leadership. He continues to place significant value on family support, which he considers integral to his ongoing success.
