NORTHVILLE, MI, March 17, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Helen Xu has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Xu has established herself as a distinguished leader in the automotive, industrial, and consumer markets and products sectors, demonstrating over 25 years of expertise. In her current capacity as chief growth officer at Tenneco Inc., a role she has held since 2025, she is responsible for defining strategic focus areas for business growth, assessing opportunities within existing customers, products and markets and identifying white-space opportunities in new customers, markets or applications. She analyzes product fit, synergy and organizational capability for new developments, builds and presents business cases for leadership and board alignment, aligns strategy across executive leadership and business unit heads, translates approved strategies into actionable execution plans and oversees action plans to ensure delivery against performance goals.

Prior to joining Tenneco Inc., Ms. Xu served as chief growth officer at u-blox in 2025. From 2019 to 2024, she held the dual roles of senior vice president of global climate and comfort solutions and managing director Asia at Gentherm Inc. During her tenure, she led major transformations in strategy, capability and organizational design, consistently driving significant business growth across multiple companies. She built teams and structures from the ground up, expanded revenue from zero to large-scale operations, doubled market growth rates, increased market share from fifth to first and prepared organizations for private-equity acquisition. Her leadership was also pivotal in reshaping underperforming business units and strengthening people, culture and cross-functional alignment to ensure long-term competitiveness—particularly in mature or declining markets where growth required diversification, operational excellence and adaptability.

For the preceding eight years, Ms. Xu was vice president and Greater China regional center head at Infineon Technologies after serving as a managing director of China at International Automotive Components from 2010 to 2012. At the latter company, she oversaw all aspects of the company's operations in China, focusing on market penetration and organizational development.

From 2007 to 2010, Ms. Xu was the sales, marketing and program management director at International Automotive Components. She then completed an eight-year tenure at Lear Corporation, where she served as program manager, operations director and product engineering and program management director. She began her professional journey as a special project engineer with Chrysler Jeep & Truck Engineering from 1998 to 1999.

Educationally, Ms. Xu's background has been foundational to her success. Most recently, she completed executive education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2019, which provided advanced leadership training that has informed her strategic approach in senior roles. She has also earned a Master of Business Administration in business administration from Walsh College in 2005, a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Oakland University in 2001 and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Kettering University in 1998.

Overall, Ms. Xu attributes her achievements first to the unwavering support of her husband and family, which she considers essential to everything she has accomplished. She also credits the guidance of mentors who have shaped her professional journey, along with her own commitment to hard work, continuous learning and resilience. She approaches challenges with determination and consistently pushes herself to develop new skills.

Ms. Xu's contributions have been recognized through several prestigious honors, including being named "Executive of the Year" by Asia Pacific & Greater China Business Awards, as well as inclusion among Forbes' "Women in Tech" Top 50 in 2019. She has further been a member of the board of directors at Autolink since 2025 and is affiliated with EV100.

Born in Beijing, Ms. Xu enjoys traveling with her children, playing sports with her family and learning new things together. As a proud mother of two—a son and a daughter—she manages her travel commitments with strong support from her husband, who left his career in logistics to shift focus full-time on their family and the children. She prioritizes remaining present for her family by avoiding assignments that would separate them. Together, they decided to relocate to Michigan in early 2025, where they started a new chapter together back in the U.S.

Looking ahead, Ms. Xu aims to continue contributing to the transportation and automotive industry by supporting its ongoing evolution using her extensive experience. She also prioritizes supporting her children as they enter their high school years, with the goal of helping them become their best selves, while planning to engage more deeply in community involvement after settling in Northville, Michigan—seeking meaningful volunteer opportunities as part of giving back locally.
