MORGANTOWN, WV, March 19, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Berger and Green, The Injury and Disability Lawyers, has announced a $30,000 challenge gift—enough to cover the full cost of training one service dog—in support of the Hearts of Gold Service Dog Program at West Virginia University. The gift will be unlocked when 100 donors give $10 or more during WVU Day of Giving on Tuesday, March 25, at dayofgiving.wvu.edu/davis.
Every gift—starting at just $10—brings Hearts of Gold one step closer to unlocking the full challenge and funding the training and placement of a life-changing service dog for a veteran.
"When we heard about the need for funding, we knew we wanted to help," said Amanda Bonnesen, Managing Partner at Berger and Green. "We know how much disabled veterans sacrifice, and the need for service animals to support them is real and urgent. We're excited to be a part of this journey and hope our challenge gift inspires others to join us."
