From 2020 to 2022, she served as a senior human resources manager at the International Executive Service Corps, overseeing global human resources operations and supporting international development projects.

Between 2018 and 2020, Ms. Maynard was senior human resources manager at IMA World Health, where she led human resources functions for an international nonprofit health care service organization focused on improving health outcomes in underserved communities. Her earlier experience includes serving as owner and operator of multiple franchises across multiple states from 2010 to 2018. In this role, she ran several Auntie Anne's franchises in Colorado and Arizona, managing all four locations independently. She oversaw every aspect of the business from general management to bakery operations, gaining comprehensive experience in human resources, technology, finance and daily operations. Ms. Maynard considers this period one of her most notable achievements, as it provided her with deep insights into business management and honed her strategic leadership skills.

From 2008 to 2010, Ms. Maynard worked as a benefits and worker's compensation consultant at Employment Inc, advising clients on employee benefits administration and compliance matters. She previously served as international benefits manager at GardaWorld from 2005 to 2008, initially joining Vance International before its acquisition by Garda. In this capacity, she supported security efforts for various agencies in Washington, D.C., and was assigned as program manager responsible for transferring systems and benefits during the merger with Garda, a Canadian company. The project's complexity required careful coordination across borders.

Ms. Maynard's earlier career includes roles as human resources generalist at Titan Corporation from 2004 to 2005 and as human resources and accounting assistant at GRC TSC, AT&T Government Solutions from 2002 to 2004.

Her academic background has been foundational to her professional accomplishments. She earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado in 2020 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management. Ms. Maynard also holds an associate degree in business administration and management from Pikes Peak State College, awarded in 2017, and an Associate of Arts in Accounting from Pikes Peak State College conferred in 2012. In addition to her academic achievements, she holds the senior professional in human resources certification from HRCI, obtained in 2020.

Ms. Maynard attributes her success to an entrepreneurial mindset, a solution-oriented approach and the guidance received from mentors throughout her career. She recalls advice from her high school soccer coach on using criticism constructively, a lesson she continues to apply by seeking feedback to drive continuous improvement. Several mentors have shaped her growth over the years; notably, Roberto Flores, a chief financial officer she worked with at multiple organizations, who played a key role in helping refine her skills for executive leadership. Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Maynard has been civically engaged as a ministry partner with Revealed Love Ministries Corp since 2016 and volunteered with DC Central Kitchen from 2017 to 2020.
