Dr. Yarrington has established herself as an innovative and versatile leader in oncology pharmacy, informatics and clinical operations, with a career spanning three decades. Since January 2026, she has served as the beacon/willow IP Epic analyst (research protocol build) at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta. In this capacity, Dr. Yarrington is responsible for translating research study protocols and pharmacy manuals into actionable treatment plans within the Epic Systems electronic medical record environment. Her work ensures that study arms are accurately represented, required laboratory tests and treatment components are complete, and integrated protocols enable physicians to efficiently apply study requirements to patient charts. This meticulous approach safeguards patient safety and streamlines clinical workflows for oncology research teams, with a primary focus on adult oncology, cell therapy and transplant cases, as well as some involvement in pediatric studies.

Before joining Emory Healthcare, Dr. Yarrington was a clinical oncology informatics pharmacist (Epic Beacon Analyst) at Incisive Consultants from 2025 to 2026. In this role, she leveraged her expertise in Epic Systems to support oncology research initiatives at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Yarrington spent 2016 to 2018 as a regional clinical oncology informatics specialist at Trinity Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She then served as the BCOP credentialed oncology pharmacist/pharmacy application coordinator from 2018 to 2025.

Dr. Yarrington's earlier roles include serving as a pharmacy manager at Option Care Health Inc. from 1998 to 2001, where she oversaw home infusion services. She also excelled as a pharmacist at HomeMed, Michigan Medicine, University of Michigan, between 1997 and 1998, and at The Kroger Co. from 1995 to 1997.

Highly educated, Dr. Yarrington completed coursework in animal sciences at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, in 1984 before earning a bachelor's degree in biology from Binghamton University, State University of New York, in 1988 and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1995. These academic achievements have underpinned her success across diverse roles by equipping her with scientific knowledge critical for developing clinical protocols and advancing patient care.

Her commitment culminated in passing the rigorous board certification in oncology pharmacy through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in 2011.
