Before joining CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc., Ms. Dorshorst served as senior director of product marketing at Salesforce Inc. from 2022 to 2023. She previously held the role of director of product marketing from 2018 to 2022 and senior product marketing manager from 2015 to 2018 at Salesforce Inc., following its acquisition of Demandware. During her eight-year tenure at Salesforce, she became recognized as one of the company's premier keynote speakers, addressing audiences of up to 5,000 in person and many more online. Notably, she excelled in Salesforce's unique "presenting in the round" format, which emphasizes audience engagement through dynamic movement rather than traditional stage presentations. This achievement stands out as a highlight of her career.

Ms. Dorshorst's earlier experience includes serving as a senior product and marketing manager at Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions Inc. from 2013 to 2015, and as a marketing manager from 2012 to 2013. She began her journey in product marketing at IBM as an offering marketing manager from 2010 to 2012, a time when the field was still emerging and not widely recognized as a distinct function. Her initial years at IBM were spent in sales roles: she was a senior international client representative from 2008 to 2010 and a systems sales representative from 2005 to 2008, focusing on major accounts.

Throughout her career, Ms. Dorshorst has demonstrated a commitment to advancing the fields of product marketing and portfolio marketing. She is adept at bridging the gap between sales, marketing products, and other customer-facing teams by articulating the value of solutions in ways that resonate with buyers and empower internal stakeholders. Her expertise is further evidenced by her status as co-inventor on United States Patent No. US 11074632 for a method and system for associating multiple persons with a virtual transaction in an environment, awarded in 2021.

Her academic background includes a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas, earned in 2005, which provided her with advanced business acumen essential to leadership roles in technology organizations. She also holds both a Bachelor of Science in business and a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from the University of Missouri-Columbia, completed in 2004. These dual undergraduate degrees equipped her with a broad perspective on global markets and cross-functional collaboration, skills that have been integral throughout her career.

Ms. Dorshorst attributes her success to hard work, dedication and perseverance despite encountering numerous challenges along her path. At CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc., she is also an executive sponsor for an employee resource groups, connecting personal values with organizational culture. Previously, she fostered approximately twenty dogs between 2018 and 2021 and volunteered digitally at an elementary school during the 2015 to 2016 academic year.

Ms. Dorshorst's achievements have been recognized through honors such as the Louis Gerstner Award from IBM. Her thought leadership is reflected in published works, including co-authoring "The New POS – A Branding Opportunity" for Retail IT in 2013 and being featured in Tech Target's "Salesforce adds headless commerce capabilities" article in 2022.
