Ms. Vittalkar currently serves as vice president of engineering at Coupa, a role she began in 2025. In this capacity, Ms. Vittalkar leads engineering strategy and execution across a diverse portfolio of enterprise cloud products, partnering closely with product and business leaders to translate strategic priorities into scalable technology solutions. She oversees global engineering teams responsible for product delivery, platform reliability, performance, and customer success. Additionally, she communicates regularly with upper management regarding company strategy and aligns engineering initiatives with overall business objectives.

Before joining Coupa, Ms. Vittalkar was vice president of engineering for supplier management and risk at SAP SE from 2021 to 2025. In this position, she led teams focused on enhancing supplier management solutions and mitigating risk within enterprise environments. Her tenure was marked by the successful delivery of robust software products that addressed complex business needs for global clients.

From 2018 to 2021, Ms. Vittalkar served as vice president of engineering for cloud integration at SAP SE. During this period, she achieved one of her most notable professional milestones: developing a ground-up integration platform in SAP called Cloud Integration Gateway. This innovative solution had no real equivalent in the market at launch. It achieved rapid adoption, with more than 1,000 customers adopting it within its first year, a rare accomplishment in enterprise software. In recognition of her inventive contributions, Ms. Vittalkar was awarded a patent in 2021 for an intelligent automated method of baselining integration content using messages from historical tests for regression testing.

Her earlier roles at SAP SE included director of cloud integration from 2016 to 2018, where she managed cross-functional teams responsible for delivering scalable integration solutions; senior development manager from 2012 to 2016, overseeing critical projects that advanced SAP's cloud offerings; development manager from 2007 to 2012, leading software development initiatives; and software engineer from 2004 to 2007, contributing directly to product design and implementation.

Before her tenure at SAP SE, Ms. Vittalkar served as project lead at Intelligroup (now NTT DATA Americas Inc.) from 2002 to 2004, where she managed client projects and coordinated technical teams. As an ABAP consultant working independently from 2001 to 2002, she provided specialized consulting services in enterprise resource planning systems.

Her early career included positions as a software engineer at Intel Corporation from 2000 to 2001, where she contributed to technology development projects; a software engineer at Digital India under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India from 1999 to 2000; and a software engineer at Kirloskar Electric Company from 1997 to 1999.

Ms. Vittalkar's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical and electronics engineering from Bangalore University, earned in 1997. This rigorous technical education equipped her with the analytical skills that enabled her subsequent achievements in software engineering and product development. She further enhanced her expertise by completing the AI-Driven Leadership: Strategies for the Future course at Stanford University in 2025, earning certification XGAL0002. This advanced training has supported her ability to lead teams through technological transformation and innovation.

Throughout her career, Ms. Vittalkar has attributed her success to exceptional discipline, consistency and an unwavering commitment to excellence, combined with a persistent approach to solving complex challenges thoroughly and thoughtfully.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Ms. Vittalkar has demonstrated civic engagement through philanthropic activities while residing in India. She contributed both financially and through community empowerment initiatives focused on skills development and self-sufficiency. Personally teaching English-speaking classes, she helped individuals improve their job prospects by enhancing their language skills. She also operated a center that offered sewing classes taught by another instructor, so participants could quickly gain employable skills. Furthermore, she supported a Mehendi class led by another teacher that trained women in decorative hand design application, enabling them to achieve financial independence.

Born in Bangalore to Subbarathna and Vijayananda Vittalkar, Ms. Vittalkar credits her parents with instilling in her the values of discipline, perseverance, and a deep commitment to education that have guided her throughout her personal and professional journey. She enjoys traveling with family and friends and listening to Indian music in her leisure time. She is married to Rama Subba Rao Ayyalaraju, a cloud architect in the technology field, and has two children: Manas and Avishi. Her son will be graduating this year and plans to pursue a career in engineering, while her daughter is currently in ninth grade.
