Additionally, she directed the implementation of standardized FCA approval processes, a centralized electronic FCA document repository, and the migration from hard-copy records, while coordinating FCA-related regulatory inquiries and facilitating clear communication of product issues and resolutions to health care stakeholders.

Before her current role, Ms. Washington served as a Compliance Program Manager at Medtronic from 2021 to 2024. During this period, she advanced compliance initiatives across multiple business units, ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory standards and supporting continuous improvement in quality operations.

In the preceding years, Ms. Washington was a Quality Systems Specialist in post-market risk management at Medtronic, after dedicating 3 years as an Associate Quality Systems Specialist with Medtronic Brain and Spine Therapies. Her earlier tenure at Medtronic Spine & Biologics began as a Principal Customer Care Representative from 2016 to 2017, where she managed high-priority client accounts and resolved critical service issues. She also served the firm as a Distribution Group Lead IV and as a Domestic Order Processor II.

In addition to her core responsibilities, Ms. Washington is the CONNECT chair for the Medtronic Women's Network at the Memphis site, beginning in fiscal year 2025, where she launched an internal mentoring program for local manufacturing and distribution employees. She was also Talent Chair for the African Descent Network at Medtronic Memphis site from 2021 to 2025, leading university collaborations that resulted in a national cohort-based Master of Business Administration program with Christian Brothers University in Memphis and establishing a partnership with Maricopa Community College in Tempe to offer Microsoft Excel courses company-wide.

Ms. Washington is recognized as an expert in global quality systems, regulatory compliance, recall management, post-market risk management, and digital quality initiatives, reflecting her commitment to operational excellence in the medical device sector. Academically, Ms. Washington holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Memphis in 2014 and a Master of Business Administration in Quality of Medical Devices from Christian Brothers University in 2020. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Finance at the University of Arizona Global Campus, she continues to expand her expertise in financial analysis relevant to large-scale quality operations.

Furthering her standing, Ms. Washington is a member of the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society, the International Honor Society for Business, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Inc., and the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students. Her credentials include an executive certificate in Business Analytics and Finance from Christian Brothers University Graduate School and a certificate in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging from the same school.
