His expertise includes the commissioning and decommissioning of analytical instruments and bioprocess systems, as well as the implementation of LIMS, BMS, MES, DeltaV DCS, SCADA, Ignition, Canary, AMS, SQL/NoSQL, HMI, Rockwell PLCs, OSIsoft PI Historian, SAP ERP, and Manufacturing Operations Data Hub platforms. He is also proficient in business intelligence, data lakes, and AI/ML solutions, leveraging on-premises, PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, and cloud environments.

In addition, Dr. Kandasamy co-founded a consulting firm in 2020, providing IT/OT systems automation and implementation services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences organizations. Under his leadership, the firm has grown steadily, delivering hands-on technical and strategic consulting through LTI Mindtree, Emerson/Proconex, Valspro, and Syner-G for leading companies such as Kenvue, Moderna, Bluebird Bio, Tmunity Therapeutics, and Passage Bio.

Prior to entrepreneurship, Dr. Kandasamy served as Senior Director of IT and Computer System Validation Program Management at Syner-G BioPharma Group, where he led complex biotechnology initiatives. He also worked as a Senior Principal Consultant at Infosys Limited, providing DevOps and enterprise consulting services.

From 2011 to 2018, Dr. Kandasamy served as Senior Director of Technical Program Management at General Electric Company, where he led SAP ERP and business intelligence programs, supported over 5,000 users across 50 countries, and managed systems supporting more than $10 billion in revenue. He successfully streamlined financial closing processes and improved enterprise reporting efficiency.

He also served as Information Technology eBusiness Program Manager at Pratt & Whitney (now RTX) from 2007 to 2011, leading eBusiness initiatives, including advanced diagnostics and engine monitoring systems that captured real-time IoT data and utilized AI/ML algorithms to predict engine health and maintenance needs.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Kandasamy held roles at The Hartford Insurance Group and Pfizer Inc., contributing to enterprise architecture, eBusiness claims systems, and data-driven solutions.
Before relocating to the United States, he served as an Associate Professor of Computer Science teaching M.Sc Computer Science students at PSG College of Arts and Science in India (a Tamil Nadu government-aided position) while conducting doctoral research in artificial intelligence under the supervision of Dr. K. Chidananda Gowda.

Academically, Dr. Kandasamy holds a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on artificial intelligence from Bharathiar University, an MBA from NYU Leonard N. Stern School of Business, and an MS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has also completed advanced certification in artificial intelligence and machine learning from the University of Texas at Austin and holds professional certifications including SAFe, TOGAF, and PMP.

Reflecting on his career, Dr. Kandasamy credits his success to humble beginnings in India, where scholarships and awards earned through academic excellence fueled a lifelong drive for learning, which he applies to create meaningful impact for clients, colleagues, and organizations.

Outside of work, Dr. Kandasamy prioritizes time with his family, supporting his four children in activities such as basketball, tennis, swimming, and dance. He also enjoys traveling, going to movies, playing poker with friends, watching television, visiting temples, and staying active through regular exercise. His civic engagement includes volunteering with the nonprofit organization Tamil Sangam, where he has also served on the board.
