Mr. Claros has established a distinguished career spanning over 25 years, marked by progressive leadership roles in both military and civilian sectors. Currently, he serves as the deputy chief of staff for logistics and the 17th Sustainment Brigade commander with the Nevada National Guard. In this capacity, Mr. Claros oversees day-to-day policy making and regulatory requirements for the U.S. Army's logistics field and sustainment enterprise. He is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of U.S. Army vehicles and ensuring property accountability across formations within the Nevada Army National Guard. Mr. Claros's leadership extends to supervising a workforce of 100 plus employees across Las Vegas and Northern Nevada, directing shop workloads and leveraging expertise in mechanics and logistics.

Particularly worth mentioning is his service as brigade commander of the 17th Sustainment Brigade since April of 2024. The unit was deployed to the Middle East in 2025. Mr. Claros's role supported all logistics requirements in a joint operational environment, directly aiding warfighters in the region scheduled to transition to that position in April. His military tenure also included several key positions within the Nevada National Guard. Previously, he served as deputy chief of staff for logistics between 2021 and 2024, following his tenure as a supervisory logistics management specialist from 2019 to 2021. Mr. Claros began his officer career with the Nevada National Guard in Las Vegas in 2007 and continues his service in uniform.

Earlier in his military career, Mr. Claros served as a project engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in South Korea from 2013 to 2015. He also excelled as a U.S. Army officer on active duty between 2003 and 2005, after enlisting in the Washington Army National Guard as a Private First Class in the Pacific Northwest from 1998 to 2002. In addition to his military service, Mr. Claros has held significant roles in the private sector. From 2015 to 2019, he was a production supervisor at Nestlé, working in the Ice Cream Division where he managed production operations and contributed to process improvements. He also worked as an on-site account manager for Hilti in the Las Vegas metropolitan area between 2007 and 2008, overseeing client relations and project coordination during construction of the City Center project. Earlier, Mr. Claros served as an operations officer and supervisor at United Airlines in both the Greater Denver area and Las Vegas from 2006 to 2007.

Mr. Claros's academic background has been instrumental in shaping his professional achievements. His academic journey began with a bachelor's degree in communications from Washington State University in 2002. In 2017, he completed a Master of Business Administration in management at North Central University, followed by a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Air Force Air War College in 2023, equipping him with advanced knowledge of military strategy and leadership. Additionally, Mr. Claros completed coursework through the department's distributed learning track at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College from 2017 to 2020, providing him with critical training for senior leadership roles in the nations army and corporate industry.

Throughout his career, Mr. Claros has been recognized for his exemplary service, receiving one Legion of Merit and two Bronze Star Medals from the U.S. Army to name a few. He attributes his success to the unwavering support of his family and values learning from every individual he meets, treating each interaction as an opportunity for mentorship and growth.

As a triplet who immigrated to the U.S., Mr. Claros believes his life story embodies the American dream.
