Ms. Bressack built her career at the intersection of enterprise strategy, operational execution, and organizational transformation, translating complex, organizational priorities into measurable, real-world outcomes across non-profit healthcare and human services environments.

In Ms. Bressack's most recent role, she served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Volunteers of America Michigan, a role she held since 2024. In this capacity, she led three divisions encompassing veteran social services, healthcare and affordable housing focusing on cross-divisional integration. Her responsibilities included overseeing the implementation of the strategic plan, compliance, risk management and quality, an electronic health record and incident reporting with robust accountability structures. Ms. Bressack developed performance dashboards to measure organizational performance, modernized infrastructure to ensure regulatory compliance, and managed a team of five direct reports and more than 75 indirect reports. Among her notable achievements was the development of a medical respite program that bridges health care and housing services for homeless individuals recovering from medical events such as hospitalization.

Prior to her COO role, Ms. Bressack spent two decades with Henry Ford Health serving in various leadership capacities across strategy and organizational development. Her most recent role with Henry Ford Health was the Vice President of Strategy and Planning from 2019 to 2024. During this period, she implemented a multi-year strategic plan that was a complex three-year strategy distilled into a simple, clear and coherent framework enabling every leader and employee to understand and integrate the plan into their daily work. This approach empowered leaders at all levels to articulate organizational goals and performance metrics, fostering alignment and driving success across the system.

Between 2014 and 2019, before being promoted to Vice President of Planning & Strategy, Ms. Bressack served as the Director of Planning and Certificate of Need Strategy at Henry Ford Health System, where she focused on outpatient and same-day care service expansion and service line growth strategies. Earlier in her career at Henry Ford Health, she held the position of Manager of Leadership Development, after being promoted from individual contributor roles within Leadership Development and Organizational Effectiveness. During this time she contributed to leadership development, employee engagement, and executive coaching initiatives, including supporting Henry Ford Health to achieve the Gallup Great Workplace award in 2013.

Ms. Bressack initially joined Henry Ford Health as a Senior Market Analyst in 2004 where she provided analytical support for strategic projects. Ms. Bressack had a full-circle career at Henry Ford Health, with her first and last roles in the same department, marking her progressive advancement from Analyst to Vice President.

Ms. Bressack's academic background includes earning a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2000, followed by a Master's degree in Health Services Administration from the School of Public Health in 2004. While earning her Master's degree, Ms. Bressack interned with the Treatment Action Campaign in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2003. During this six-month internship, she engaged with initiatives aimed at combating the HIV/AIDS epidemic, helping individuals understand transmission risks and access life-saving treatments.

Her dedication extends beyond her professional accomplishments into civic engagement. Ms. Bressack has served as a Director on the Board of the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS) since 2020 and as an Executive Officer and Board Development and Nominating Committee Chair on the board of Gesher Human Services since 2021.

Among Ms. Bressack's honors, she received the AVA Platinum Award for Training Development and the Aegis Video Award in 2010 for the "Speak Up, Speak Out" training program and the Gallup Great Workplace Award in 2013, all while working for Henry Ford Health System. Her parents instilled in her a deep commitment to community service that has guided her career choices. Looking ahead, Ms. Bressack intends to continue in either her own consulting and coaching practice or through employment, contributing to nonprofit health and human services organizations where her passion for strategy, transformation, and serving vulnerable communities can have a lasting impact.
