KIRKLAND, WA, April 14, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alankrita Nigam has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Nigam has distinguished herself as a Senior Manager of Product Management, Technical, within the People Experience and Technology team at Amazon.com Inc. in Seattle, a role she has held since 2022. In this capacity, she has been instrumental in building first-of-kind products that impact millions of users globally — from internal platform tools that support Amazon employees to Talent Acquisition products that help job seekers discover the right Amazon role, upskill themselves, and enter the workforce better prepared. Her expertise lies in bringing products to life from concept to delivery and scaling them into platforms used by millions worldwide. Among her most notable recent contributions is the creation of an artificial intelligence assistant designed to help jobseekers identify suitable Amazon jobs based on their profiles and personalized preferences, making job exploration and preparation more seamless than ever before.

In addition to her product work, Ms. Nigam leads regular strategic reviews with executive leadership from partner organizations to ensure alignment on vision, objectives, and execution. She is known for her ability to guide cross-functional teams — spanning business, marketing, engineering, design, legal, and analytics — through complex challenges while keeping projects on track and on schedule.

Before her current role, Ms. Nigam spent six years leading supply chain product and strategy at Amazon, where she oversaw initiatives that touched hundreds of fulfillment centers across North America. Her work during this period contributed to meaningful improvements in delivery promise reliability, network efficiency, and shipment visibility for customers. Starting in 2016 as a Senior Program Manager responsible for full-year demand forecasting across more than 150+ fulfillment centers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, she progressed through roles of increasing scope — leading supply chain and transportation analytics and products from 2017 to 2022. One of her proudest contributions from this era was architecting a unified data platform that gave analysts and decision-makers across the company a common language for measuring on-time delivery performance — a capability that had previously been fragmented across dozens of disconnected systems.

Ms. Nigam's path to Amazon is not a conventional one. From 2013 to 2015, she served as a fellow with Teach for India, teaching fourth- and fifth-grade students in Dharavi, Mumbai. Under her instruction, her students achieved marked gains in literacy and mathematics. Recognizing that many students struggled academically due to their parents' limited educational backgrounds, Ms. Nigam organized weekend classes for parents, empowering them to actively support their children's learning and fostering a culture of giving back. She was also selected from among hundreds of applicants to pioneer the "Nalanda Project" — a first-of-its-kind digital learning platform that brought Khan Academy videos into the Dharavi classroom, equipping students from underserved communities with tablet-based learning tools, many of whom were encountering educational technology for the very first time.

Prior to her work with Teach for India, Ms. Nigam served as an officer at ITC Ltd. in Bhadrachalam, India, between 2012 and 2013, where she led a complex chemical coating system from concept through delivery and oversaw shift operations for the Paper and Paperboards manufacturing unit. Earlier that year, she completed a research fellowship in chemical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, contributing to academic research on thin elastic film behavior. Her early career also included an internship with GAIL (India) Ltd. in Auraiya and a vocational traineeship with Engineers India Ltd. in the Greater Delhi Area.

Ms. Nigam holds a Master of Engineering in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, conferred in 2016, and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, awarded in 2012. Her MIT master's thesis, "Product Promotion Effectiveness: Root Causes of Stock-Outs," was developed in collaboration with a Fortune 50 consumer packaged goods company and has since been cited by other researchers for its practical impact on supply chain practice. She also contributed to the publication "Stability Analysis of Thin Elastic Films on Application of Electric Field" during her fellowship at IIT Bombay and co-presented an original poster on the "Networking of mini-satellites and the International Space Station" at the International Space University's global symposium in 2011.

Among her professional affiliations, Ms. Nigam is a member of the Women in Tech and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Her honors include a featured spotlight by MIT's Supply Chain Management Program, an invitation to serve as Guest Lecturer at her undergraduate alma mater, and recognition as a Top-Tier Performer at Amazon for multiple consecutive years. Beyond her professional life, Ms. Nigam is a decorated competitive swimmer, having earned a Gold Medal at the CBSE East Zone Swimming Championship in 2007 and represented East Zone of India at the National India Swimming Championship — a pursuit that reflects the same discipline and endurance she has brought to every chapter of her career.

Throughout her career, Ms. Nigam has credited her perseverance and patience as key factors contributing to her success. Her ability to overcome challenges and maintain focus has propelled her professional growth. Looking ahead, Ms. Nigam envisions establishing her own technical startup based in the U.S. that will serve a global audience—reflecting her ambition to continue making impactful contributions on an international scale.
