She is also working on an internal purple poster presentation to solicit feedback on her work. In April 2025, Ms. Singh also assumed an unofficial leadership position as a tech lead for design of voltage regulators on 224Gb/s PHY IP, managing technical aspects and team dynamics while interfacing with seven designers across multiple continents. This role has provided her with valuable experience in cross-cultural communication and project management.
In 2024, Ms. Singh served as a circuits and systems lead on a capstone project at Microsoft, where her work was accepted for a demo at the 61st Design Automation Conference (DAC)- The Chips to Systems Conference in June 2024. The previous year, she founded WellnessU, where she was instrumental as the chief executive officer from 2023 to 2024. Through this entrepreneurial venture, Ms. Singh demonstrated her commitment to innovation and leadership in wellness technology.
Before relocating to the U.S., Ms. Singh worked as an analog IC design engineer II specializing in optical transceiver ICs research and development at Semtech in London from 2017 to 2019. She also served as a Physical IC design consultant for GME mbH in Munich between 2016 and 2017. Ms. Singh also spent a year as a research intern at Fraunhofer IIS (Erlangen, Germany) while in college.
Ms. Singh's academic journey includes completing her foundational schooling at Notre Dame Academy. She soon after earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology in 2014 and a Master's degree in Integrated Circuit Design jointly offered by Technical University of Munich (Germany) and National Technological University (Singapore) in 2016. She was then employed by Semtech Ltd. (UK) until 2029. After which she headed to the United States of America and was a Circuits and Systems Researcher in electrical and computer engineering department at the University of California, Los Angeles. Several years later, Ms. Singh returned to college, earning a Master of Engineering in electrical and computer engineering with distinction from the University of California, Irvine, in 2024. In addition to her formal education, she earned numerous professional credentials, including an edX Honor Code certificate for ISSCC Previews, edX-verified certificates in data analysis and machine learning with Python from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and others.
Adding to her expertise, Ms. Singh's professional affiliations include serving as a core committee member of Women in Circuits within the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Solid-State Circuits Society in 2020 and as a student member of TiE SoCal since 2024.
Meanwhile, her civic engagement includes founding STEM SQUADRON in 2022, a platform dedicated to promoting science, technology, engineering and mathematics education, following her role as a STEM mentor from 2014 to 2020. She has also served as the President of Toastmasters Synopsys Hillsboro since 2025. Furthermore, Ms. Singh is also an active donor to spiritual groups.
Ms. Singh's accomplishments have been recognized through numerous awards. Recent accolades have included:
Academic and Professional Excellence Award from UCI Samueli School of Engineering [June 2024] • Semi-finalist at UCI Stella Zhang New Venture Competition (NVC) [May 2024] • Winner of TiE U SoCal Chapter and semi-finalist at the global TiE U startup competition [April/May 2024] • Winner of UCI AI Innovation Challenge- Student Experience Track [Jan 2024] • Finalist of 2021 Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship (QIF) North America [May 2021] • IEEE Solid-State Circuit Society Rising Star [Feb 2020] • Best Teaching Assistant Award from ECE department at University of California [June 2020] • IEEE Electromagnetics Olympiad (Rank-2), IEEE AP-MTT Society [July 2013].
Throughout her career, Ms. Singh has demonstrated perseverance and resilience. Looking ahead, she aims to address talent shortages within the semiconductor industry. To accomplish this goal, Ms. Singh intends to strengthen core competencies among high school and undergraduate students through global academic alliances that connect industry professionals with aspiring engineers.
