Prior to his current position, Dr. Beyhan was Assistant Executive Director at the Read Foundation from 2019 to 2021. During this period, he contributed to organizational growth and played a pivotal role in implementing educational initiatives that enhanced student outcomes. His tenure as Director of Operations at the Read Foundation from 2018 to 2019 further solidified his expertise in managing complex educational environments, ensuring efficient resource allocation and supporting faculty development.

Dr. Beyhan's earlier experience includes serving as the founding principal at Harmony Public Schools-Waco Innovation from 2017 to 2018, where he was instrumental in establishing new academic programs and cultivating a positive school culture. From 2012 to 2017, he served as turnaround principal at Harmony Public Schools Waco Academy, leading efforts to improve underperforming campuses and achieve measurable gains in student achievement. As a College Counselor from 2011 to 2012 and Assistant Principal from 2010 to 2011 at Harmony Public Schools Carrollton, Dr. Beyhan provided guidance to students navigating postsecondary pathways and supported administrative functions critical to school success.

His teaching career began as a mathematics teacher at Harmony Public Schools-San Antonio from 2009 to 2010, following earlier roles as a mathematics teacher with Millî Egitim Bakanligi from 2004 to 2009 and Fatih Dershanesi from 2003 to 2004 in Turkey. Dr. Beyhan's initial appointment as a mathematics teacher with Millî Egitim Bakanligi in 2003 laid the foundation for his enduring commitment to education.

Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Beyhan has developed recognized expertise in mathematics and educational leadership. His achievements are underscored by his academic accomplishments, most notably earning a Doctor of Education in educational leadership and administration from American College of Education in 2022 with a perfect grade point average. This milestone is particularly significant given his family background, where previous generations attained only an elementary education. Dr. Beyhan also holds a Master of Education in educational leadership and administration from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, awarded in 2016; a Master of Science in applied mathematics from Kafkas University in Turkey, completed in 2007; and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Marmara University in Turkey, earned in 2000.

Dr. Beyhan's commitment to professional development is reflected in an array of certifications that enhance his leadership capabilities. These include completion of the NSPRA Mid-Career Academy through the National School Public Relations Association in 2024; participation in the AI in Power BI Workshop by Pragmatic Works in 2023; and multiple credentials from the Tennessee Department of Education, such as the professional educator certificate with superintendent endorsement and ILL-P professional administrator certification obtained in 2021. He is also certified as a social-behavioral-educational researcher by the CITI Program since 2019 and has served on the advisory board for the American College of Education since 2020.

His civic engagement includes serving as a board member of Empower Memphis Career and College Prep beginning in 2024; as library board chair for the Town of Collierville since 2023; as a PEAC member at Christian Brothers University since 2022; and as a steering committee member for Prosper Waco from 2015 to 2018.

Born in Turkey, Dr. Beyhan attributes his success to his diverse background rooted in Istanbul and his multilingual abilities—qualities that have enabled him to connect with varied communities and achieve significant milestones throughout his career. Outside his professional responsibilities, he enjoys driving, playing soccer, hiking and camping.

Looking ahead, Dr. Beyhan envisions expanding his impact in Tennessee by operating 10 charter schools across the state while exploring opportunities for growth in neighboring states such as Mississippi, Arkansas and Alabama. As one of the few charter operators managing multiple campuses across different cities, he remains committed to broadening access to quality education for students throughout the region.
