Dr. Miosek has distinguished herself as a leader in small-animal general practice, demonstrating expertise and dedication throughout her nearly 30-year career. As the head veterinarian at Sandy Paws Veterinary Clinic since 2024, she is responsible for all medical and surgical procedures at the hospital. Under her guidance, Sandy Paws Veterinary Clinic has become the first animal hospital established in Montauk and remains the only female-owned and operated facility on the East End, marking a significant milestone in the region's veterinary landscape.

Prior to opening her brick-and-mortar clinic, Dr. Miosek founded Dr. Molly's Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at Home, a mobile clinic she owned and operated from 2006 to 2024. Her commitment to accessible veterinary care set a new standard for personalized animal health services in the community.

From 2004 to 2006, Dr. Miosek served as a veterinarian with Bideawee, where she contributed her skills to one of the country's oldest animal welfare organizations. In this role, she gained foundational clinical experience, building relationships with pet owners and establishing herself as a trusted provider of veterinary care.

Throughout her career, Dr. Miosek has maintained active membership in the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association, reflecting her commitment to professional development and industry standards.

Dr. Miosek's academic background laid the groundwork for her achievements. This two year project was a commitment to research that she considers essential in modern medicine.
