COMMERCIAL POINT, OH, April 13, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alexa Silverstein has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mrs. Silverstein currently serves as founder and principal consultant of LEX Data Advisory, based in Columbus, OH. In this capacity since 2026, she is responsible for reaching out to potential clients and managing sales efforts. Her work involves visiting client businesses to gain a comprehensive understanding of their processes from start to finish, reviewing all data sources and creating dashboards tailored to each organization's needs. Mrs. Silverstein specializes in assisting companies with inconsistent reporting and accuracy issues, enabling them to make better-informed decisions and allowing employees to focus on their primary responsibilities. The founding of LEX Data Advisory stands as her most notable achievement, as she established the company while raising two children under the age of two, a testament to her dedication as both a business owner and a mother.
Before launching her own firm, Mrs. Silverstein held the position of senior credit analyst specializing in the technology, media, telecommunications and entertainment vertical at Fifth Third Bank in the Columbus metropolitan area in 2025. In this role, she became acutely aware of inefficiencies within data processes and took initiative in handling internal data projects for her team. She regularly extracted raw reports, analyzed portfolio performance and transformed complex data into presentations for senior executives. Her expertise extended beyond her immediate responsibilities, as she supported other teams with data-related tasks and was recognized multiple times with the Spirit of the Pin Award for her contributions.
From 2024 to 2025, Mrs. Silverstein served as a credit analyst II, focusing on technology, media, and telecommunications at Fifth Third Bank in Charlotte. She continued to refine her analytical skills while managing significant workloads across multiple teams.
From 2022 to 2023, she was a commercial and credit associate at Fifth Third Bank in Charlotte. During this period, she participated in a rotational program that exposed her to various aspects of corporate banking, further solidifying her interest in the sector.
Mrs. Silverstein's early professional experience includes serving as an economics tutor at the University of Dayton from 2019 to 2022, where she provided academic support to students in economics courses. Concurrently, she was the lead BWISE coordinator at the University of Dayton from 2019 to 2022, working under the office of the dean of the business school to improve operational systems by developing more efficient alternatives.
Her internship experience is extensive: she interned at Adena Health System in Chillicothe in 2021, Brighthouse Financial in Charlotte in 2020, Sunrise Technology in Cincinnati in 2019, and Perfection Group in Cincinnati in 2018. Each role contributed to her broad exposure across sales, finance and data analysis.
Throughout her high school career, Mrs. Silverstein worked in a variety of roles in the service industry. Her first job at age fourteen was at her grandfather's eye doctor's office in Cincinnati, where she managed paper charts before electronic records were introduced.
Mrs. Silverstein's academic background has been instrumental throughout her career. She earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in business administration and management from the University of Cincinnati in 2023. She completed a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management, with majors in finance and economics, from the University of Dayton in 2022. Her education provided a strong foundation for her analytical approach and problem-solving abilities.
She holds several certifications that have enhanced her technical proficiency: Bloomberg Certification from Bloomberg (2021) and FactSet Essentials: Core Products from FactSet (2021). These credentials have supported her ability to navigate complex financial data environments.
Mrs. Silverstein attributes a significant part of her success to the profound influence of her mother, whose example set a powerful standard from an early age. Serving as the Chief Executive Officer of a major health system, her mother demonstrated not only exceptional leadership, but also an unwavering commitment to growth and excellence; earning her doctorate in nursing while Mrs. Silverstein was still in high school. Watching her mother balance the demands of executive leadership with the pursuit of advanced education left a lasting impression. It instilled in Mrs. Silverstein a deep understanding that ambition and discipline are not mutually exclusive, but rather essential complements. Her mother's ability to lead with both strength and adaptability reinforced the importance of resilience, confidence, and versatility.
These lessons became foundational to how Mrs. Silverstein approaches challenges and opportunities alike. More than just a source of inspiration, her mother served as a living example of what is possible through determination and self-belief—shaping not only her professional mindset, but also her broader perspective on leadership and success.
Her civic involvement is extensive. She has been a member of Beta Gamma Sigma since 2020. She has volunteered with organizations such as Roof Above and Baby Bundles, and participated in food drives organized by Fifth Third Bank during 2023. She has also been involved with the Alpha Phi Foundation from 2019 to 2022, serving as chapter president of Alpha Phi International Fraternity from 2020 to 2021 and as vice president of risk management for Alpha Phi International Fraternity at the University of Dayton from 2019 to 2020. Additional affiliations include membership with Future Business Leaders of America from 2016 to 2018, volunteering with House of Bread in 2018, tutoring elementary school students and supporting Dress for Success.
Mrs. Silverstein's achievements have been recognized through numerous awards including Dean's List honors at both the University of Cincinnati and University of Dayton for all semesters attended, the Miriam Rosenthal Award of Excellence at the University of Dayton (2022), induction into Beta Gamma Sigma National Business Honor Society (2021), participation in the University of Dayton Honors Program (2018) and multiple Spirit of the Pin Awards during her tenure at Fifth Third Bank.
Born in Cincinnati, Mrs. Silverstein enjoys spending time with her children outside of her professional commitments. Looking ahead, she plans to expand LEX Data Advisory by adding more data analysts and increasing the representation of women on her team—particularly on the sales side—to showcase their talents within the industry and empower others as part of her company's growth trajectory.
