This personal connection has imbued his work with a profound sense of stewardship, motivating him to bridge the gap between business acumen and clinical expertise in an industry where such synergy is rare outside of large health systems.

In addition to his leadership at LÉVO, Mr. Telford is a commercial real estate investor and seed investor in consumer products companies such as BOLT Skin + Shave. He also co-founded BRAINSTOKE in 2022, further expanding his influence within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and founded MentorTree — a technology platform designed to connect aspiring professionals with their ideal mentors — a year earlier.

Mr. Telford's civic engagement is equally evident through his role as a board member of the Morgan Valley Trails Foundation since 2020, where he contributes to community enrichment initiatives. Extending his expertise into academia, he was an adjunct faculty instructor at The Alan E. Hall Center for Sales Excellence at Weber State University from 2020 to 2024, sharing his knowledge and practical insights with aspiring sales professionals.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Telford was a partner at BFB – A Gallagher Company as executive vice president of executive benefits from 2009 to 2015. Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Mr. Telford earned a Master of Arts in organizational leadership from the School of Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University in 2022 as well as a Bachelor of Science in professional sales from Weber State University in 2001. Along with his education, he attributes much of his success to a formula rooted in relentless work ethic, expertise and a willingness to embrace interpersonal risk — qualities that have enabled him to navigate challenges and seize opportunities throughout his career.

The start of Mr. Telford's focus on mental health care can be traced to a pivotal moment following the sale of his previous business — a liquidity event that transformed his family's circumstances and prompted a reevaluation of priorities. After spending years traveling extensively for work, he chose to step away from the entrepreneurial treadmill to spend more time with his family and pursue personal passions such as skiing and biking.

His wife, Liza's pursuit of licensure as a marriage and family therapist introduced Mr. Telford to the operational realities of mental health practices and ultimately led them to invest in one of the largest therapy practices in Utah. Through rigorous due diligence and strategic partnership discussions, they identified an ideal opportunity for greater impact by founding LÉVO as a spin-off dedicated to addressing unmet needs within the sector.

Beyond his primary ventures, Mr. Telford has contributed as a guest lecturer at the Office of Graduate Studies at Weber State University. His achievements have seen him recognized through honors such as induction into The Alan E. Hall Center for Sales Excellence at Weber State Hall of Fame and delivery of the commencement address for the graduating class, spring 2026.
