MERRICK, NY, April 14, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sara Rosoff has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With over 25 years of professional experience, Mrs. Rosoff has built a distinguished career in merchandising strategy and digital marketing, culminating in her current role as the founder of Decision Forward Advisory, a New York City-based company aiding businesses in strategic decision-making processes in areas such as digital transformation, the online customer journey and profitability turnarounds. Mrs. Rosoff developed the EDGE Framework, a methodology she has used to help struggling businesses recover from losses and move forward. The EDGE Framework – which stands for Evaluate, Decide, Game Plan and Execute – enables Mrs. Rosoff to first evaluate each unique situation to understand challenges and missed opportunities, then develop an appropriate course of action, ultimately ensuring that momentum is maintained and initiatives are swiftly implemented successfully.
Mrs. Rosoff is driven by an extraordinary work ethic and a deep desire to succeed, traits she has carried since a formative age. As a highly passionate and committed professional, she leverages her values to cut through the noise that often disrupts businesses, making decisive choices and maintaining the momentum to drive projects forward. This was evident at the outset of her professional career at age 19, when she established her foundation at Hugo Boss, first as a temp receptionist and then hired as a full-time sales assistant in its New York City office. Mrs. Rosoff simultaneously completed night classes at St. John's University while working full-time. As time passed, she decided to pursue full-time work rather than attend university – a decision she considers one of her greatest, as it laid the foundation for her successful career.
Mrs. Rosoff also worked at New York & Co., where she started as a temp Assistant Buyer. Over five years, she was promoted regularly and became the buyer for a new outlet division, where she quickly learned to balance full-price and residual inventory by analyzing customer behavior. Notably, she earned the Innovative Idea Award from New York & Co. in 2011. This early success in profitability and customer insight paved the way for Mrs. Rosoff's later role at Diesel, one of the most pivotal roles of her career, as it shaped her approach to merchandising and ultimately led her to launch Decision Forward Advisory. While at Diesel, her efforts transformed a struggling outlet business into a multi-million-dollar profitable operation, attracting the attention of G.H. Bass, who recruited her to launch their first website. The experience of driving significant change at that stage of her career proved to be both a defining and career-shaping moment.
Mrs. Rosoff's tenure at G.H. Bass marked her entry into the e-commerce industry, working closely with design and sourcing to develop a more premium, trend-focused footwear line while merchandising the brand's classic heritage products in a fresh, modern fashion. Following this period, she worked at Spanx as the Senior Manager of Lifestyle Merchandising, launching beyond shapewear into apparel, including jeans and leggings.
Shortly thereafter, Mrs. Rosoff joined Barnes & Noble Inc., where she remained for nearly 10 years before launching Decision Forward Advisory. She commenced her tenure as the Director of Category Management and was promoted to Senior Director of Digital Merchandising and Category Management, overseeing online execution strategies. Subsequently, she became the Senior Director of Digital Experience, implementing UX/UI oversight for the company's website. Finally, in 2022, Mrs. Rosoff was promoted to the role of Vice President of eCommerce, leading the entire digital ecosystem, including BarnesandNoble.com and its mobile application, SparkNotes.com and the Nook digital business. As the company expanded through private equity acquisitions, she also led digital efforts at Paper Source, successfully turning the brand around from near-bankruptcy to strong revenue and profitability growth.
Beyond her primary responsibilities, Mrs. Rosoff began serving on Retail Tech Media Nexus' leadership council in 2026. She is also affiliated with Retail Women in Tech. In addition to her professional pursuits, she volunteers with her local Parent-Teacher Association and maintains involvement in initiatives for underserved children and families in need, as well as for animals.
Additionally, Mrs. Rosoff is launching a locally made-to-order cookie business, focused on clean, preservative-free ingredients. Her signature chocolate chip cookie features organic, whole ingredients with gluten-free and lactose-free options. For her, baking is both a creative outlet and a meaningful way to bond with family – particularly her two daughters. Looking toward the future, Mrs. Rosoff aspires to serve as a meaningful role model and a strong woman leader not only for her daughters but also for young women nationwide.
