FORT BELVOIR, VA, April 22, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Abi R. Scott has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Marked by decades of outstanding leadership and service, Mr. Scott currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Space Force Association, beginning his role with the military-supporting non-profit in 2026 following his retirement from the United States Space Force. In this capacity, he is responsible for executing the strategic expansion of the association while continuing to support the U.S. Space Force and its mission partners across industry and academia. With an emphasis on building partnerships, he ensures that the organization's advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill effectively represent the interests of the Space Force within the Pentagon, and beyond.

In addition to his executive leadership at the Space Force Association, Mr. Scott is engaged with other tech, government contracting, and academic organizations, where he contributes to advancing their abilities to integrate with the ever-changing landscape of government and industry. He has also been a partner at TASCON Advisors since 2025, providing strategic guidance and business consulting to clients navigating complex operational landscapes.

In 2025, Mr. Scott founded Pivot Strategies, leveraging his extensive experience to provide consulting services focused on workforce development and organizational transformation for small businesses.

Furthermore, Mr. Scott recently joined the board of the Worldmaker Resilience Institute, where he supports initiatives that allow military veterans and families to overcome adversity and thrive. His commitment to veteran leadership was further demonstrated through his participation as a scholar in the Veteran Leadership Program at the George W. Bush Presidential Center in 2023.

Mr. Scott's distinguished military career spans 25 years, including two decades with the United States Air Force before transitioning to pivotal roles within the Space Force. From 2024 to 2025, he served as a senior advisor to the Chief of Personnel (S1) for the Space Force, overseeing workforce management and training ecosystem development. Prior to that, he was chief of enlisted force development, where he played a pivotal role as chief architect in rejuvenating the entire workforce development ecosystem — a significant accomplishment given the traditionally rigid nature of military staffing structures.

Prior to these roles, Mr. Scott excelled as a senior leader for Delta 23 and Aerospace Data Facility-Southwest with the National Reconnaissance Office from 2021 to 2022. He previously held positions as a communications and cyber directorate (A6) senior enlisted leader and deputy cyber major command functional at Pacific Air Forces from 2020 to 2021, and was the squadron superintendent for the 56th Air Communications Squadron from 2017 to 2020.

Alongside his primary endeavors, Mr. Scott has maintained active involvement in professional organizations such as Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc, and other military and youth support organizations. He also serves as a secretary for Gang Green Golf Club, a veteran-led non-profit dedicated to expanding the game of golf through hosting golf events and community-giving events, which include scholarships and partnerships with groups like The First Tee.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Mr. Scott earned a Master of Business Administration in 2016 and a bachelor's degree in 2011, both from the University of Phoenix. To augment his qualifications, he was certified as a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in 2025 and has earned multiple executive-level certificates from Cornell University and Villanova University.

Reflecting on his storied journey thus far, Mr. Scott attributes his success first to his faith, followed by the unwavering support and encouragement from his family and close friends. Over time, exceptional mentors and a strong peer network have also come to play vital roles in shaping his career.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Mr. Scott is known for his dedication to civic engagement and public speaking. As a keynote speaker for Salem Speakers Bureau, he continues to share the knowledge and insights drawn from his extensive experience with diverse audiences.

A passionate advocate for veterans' advancement, Mr. Scott has established multiple partnerships focused on helping military veterans transition into executive roles more smoothly. His initiatives emphasize not only education but also assessment and preparation for leadership positions, addressing the challenges many veterans face when translating their military experience into corporate language suitable for executive opportunities.

In his personal life, Mr. Scott enjoys golfing and spending quality time with his family. He is happily married to Kia White, a retired Sergeant Major from the United States Army, and together they are the proud parents of seven children: Arianna, Lauryn, Carter, Avery, Kennedy, Kobe and Harper. Balancing the joys of his family life with professional commitments remains central to his values.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Scott is committed to building a lasting legacy by setting a positive example for his children and those he mentors or supports. He remains dedicated to solving complex problems — particularly those related to workforce development within space-related fields — and aims to make a meaningful impact on future generations through continued innovation and advocacy for education about space and its growing economy.
